Correct me if i'm wrong but the reason PG does not make any original IPs is because the sales are usually low? Like not Bayo or MGS, but games like Vanquish, and Wonderful 101 ?

if you don't have a wiiu but like platinum games buy it TW101 is easily my favorite game by them just for how ridiculously stylish and polished it is. it's clear they put a lot of love in all their games but TW101 was something else and definitely the craziest one they've ever made.

yep luckily with nintendo they didn't suffer a gigantic loss from TW101 selling poorly because they already got paid being a second party dev for them.
i've lost so much weight that i can wear shirts that are 2 sizes smaller that i bought years ago but never got to wear because i was too fat and uncomfortable in anything that wasn't a 3XL
neat
MGR is actually my least favorite platinum game of the ones i've played just because there's really not much depth to it but it's still fantastic and that's saying something

It's the only Platinum game I've ever played, so I have no frame of reference for their other stuff. I really want to try Bayonetta, though.
I see that a lot of us are trying our hardest to find jobs.
I know it is tough and can be discerning at times, but please have faith in yourselves. Go to bed on time, or earlier, drink some water throughout the day before. Clear your minds of any doubts or stress about whether or not they will want you or not. Don't doubt yourselves. You can do it. The worst they can say to you is no thank you. it isn't the end of the world. Just keep trying.

bayonetta is fantastic (do not play it though if you have a PS3 you will be doing yourself a massive disservice).
honestly even though i don't play it much anymore i'm still glad i bought my WiiU for Bayonetta as that game was a ton of fun and i'm still learning it. you'll get completely destroyed your first playthrough but it makes learning the little nuances of the gameplay so much more rewarding.
A Kill la Kill game by Platinum would be neat.

I'm unable to work because of all the issues I have related to my health and anxiety, so I'm ordering everyone in this thread to be successful in their job searches and work hard in my place.
Think about all the pizza you can buy when you get your first paycheck.
one thing that's really underrated in interviews amongst all the "ways to read the interviewer" and "interview tips" you see in articles and all that is really to just be someone the interviewer likes speaking to. you obviously want to sell yourself and talk up your good points but being personable goes an extremely long way.

Have you tried working from home? Like blogging or stuff? (You can do reviews or articles about games or stuff)
I think when it comes to job hunting my biggest fear is to end up trapped somewhere i'm gonna hate for 20 years with no chance to climb that " career ladder"
Kinda like my parents..

I have a really awesome list of questions for the interviewer and responses you can use when they ask you stuff. Ill share it in a moment when i find it.
I used it in my interview and they almost hired me on the spot. I fucked up my test though because they used a different program than what I'm used to.

Have a backup plan set for yourself. If you're in a job that you hate, apply for a different one and gtfo of there. Put in your 2 weeks.

That's an interesting idea, actually! I'm not sure what I could do from home, but I could probably look into it. I have plenty of time to do research to see what I might be able to get into. Something like digital art might work, since it's something I can practice first and hopefully get good enough at to do something with.
