Yesterday, I took a job as a canvaseer for Environment New Hampshire. Pretty much, I walked door-to-door, talked about our campaign (which was about the [URL="http://www2.epa.gov/cleanwaterrule"]Clean Water Rule[/URL] ) and asked for donations for the cause.
I did enjoy doing it, but I quit at the end of the day. The script that they gave me to read to people was a bit too sensationalist (Seriously, it sounded like the introduction to Captain Planet ), so I ad libbed it. The pay was bare minimum (unless you met a ridiculous quota) and I didn't know where donated money went.
But worst of all was the chafing. It still hurts.

I feel overwhelmed and that I'm not putting in enough effort with the portraits, I'm not giving up because I know I need to do 100.
Even though our cable box has been disconnected, we've started using an antenna again to get free television. Though we don't have a channel guide or DVR. No biggy, we can just pretend we live in the 80s.

i have this one tooth in the back of my mouth, the dentists want to tear it out but with general anesthetic it'd be like, 5000$, probably only even costs the cheap fucks 50 at most, Nitrous Oxide doesn't work and the other thing that I forgot the name of doesn't either.
Got back from an evening of shopping. New duds, new shoes, several books for my collection, and I stuffed my face at my favorite restaurant.

Pfff. That's how we've been doing it since forever. And there should be at least [i]one[/i] channel that serves as a guide. Problems just happen when clouds start to roll in. Analogue signal loss at least wasn't as crappy as digital loss. Ends up like those datamoshing pictures you see around rather than maybe slight fuzziness.
