A nine year old girl taking treatment at our hospital was admitted last night to intensive care in a critically ill state. Do what we could, nothing worked out and she died at 11:30 this morning. I feel like complete shit, more so because I spoke often with her parents, and liked her a lot, hoping even against all odds that she might recover. Fuck everything.

my neck is killing me. I must have slept on it funny or something, it hurts right at the top of my spine where my skull connects with it.
Yesterday, I was taking the train home. I was in the aisle, about to take a seat, when suddenly, some middle-aged lady shoved me down and started shouting about how I apparently sat right on top of her bag and crushed everything in it. "DESTRUCTIVE LITTLE BOY, AIN'T YA, EH?"
At that point, I hadn't even sat down yet. A guy sleeping on the next row of seats shot up, and moved towards the other end of the train.
Everyone was staring, so I just decided to stand for the entire ride.
I wish I was joking, but I swear she was mumbling something about "the patriarchy," since it seemed like other people could hear her too. Some Indian guy in a suit patted me on the back, probably to cheer me up.
I'm still kind of confused as to what actually happened.
