All of my male best friends have girlfriends, and they have a bond with their girlfriends that is bigger than any friendship they have with any of their friends. I don't get to hang out with my friends every day or talk to them every day or anything, because they have girlfriends and that is more important, which I understand. Ever since more of my friends have started getting into serious relationships, I've had less of a chance to talk about what's on my mind and what's going on in my own life, and that has driven me to want to be in a relationship even more.

Yeah, but chances are, they didn't start off as boyfriend/girlfriend.
Those bonds are formed from friendships. They don't just crop up out of nowhere.
A relationship doesn't HAVE to be platonic OR romantic to be special but more often than not a relationship starts OFF as something platonic and evolves from there.
So we get Noah Bennet but not Claire Bennet or Tracy Strauss, Angela Petrelli but not Peter or Nathan, Hiro Nakamura but not Ando Masahashi, and no Sylar at all.
With the series' Joker gone this may actually turn out pretty good.

The Steins;Gate anime is one of the few I've been able to tolerate having to deal with subs for. The only other one that I can even think of that I've tolerated subs for is Madoka: Rebellion.
