The final night at House #4, enjoying one last cozy midnight snack under the buzzing fluorescent tube above the coffee bar: the miniature secondary kitchen counter that was in part why I fell in love with this place five years ago, and probably what I'm gonna miss the most. Sitting on a sleek lobby chair from Comcast (the job my dad being laid off from being the seed of the five-figure rent debt that's getting us evicted in the first place) and tapping this out on the GamePad beaming through the doorway into the Wii U in the entertainment cabinet in the next room. Alongside that in front of me is a years-old Keurig, a half-year-old BrewStation that replaced our old broken coffee maker, the coffee bar's little mini-sink, and a now-empty bowl that held the last of the Peanut Butter Crunch.
I look at the coffee machine (which a near-empty bottle of my Sertraline sits beside) and I tell ya, I'm seriously craving one last cup of joe here at the moment, but we've got no decaf (not even K-Cups; I'm rummaging through the above and below cabinets right now) and I've gotta handle loading stuff onto a truck at 9AM, so anything else is out of the question. A broken washing machine means I've been wearing this same T-shirt and pair of gym shorts for a week and I haven't bothered showering lately due to all the furniture-moving and packing we've already been doing, which means I haven't shaved either and my moustache is coming in and bugging the hell outta me.
I'm also considering jumping in this house's shower one last time before I go to bed and putting on some torn-up old "emergency" clothes stashed in my bureau, but it'll probably be wiser to wait until the moving's done and just showering at the new place (first time our family of five has only had one bathroom, by the way; that'll be fun.) Hunched over, tapping away at the GamePad, my back's starting to hurt a little; the touch-keyboard has made typing these three little paragraphs a twenty-minute affair, though I've found it to be fairly meditative. And while I'm not tired, it would be wise to get [i]some[/i] sleep before morning.
Y'know, I've always found something soothing about the steady buzzing and harsh white light of a fluorescent light. I'm gonna miss you, coffee bar.
Tomorrow is House #5. Straight outta Collingswood, and onto Oaklyn!
Man, I'm super tempted to break down and just buy one of the Fallout games now instead of waiting to see if I can snag both later.
Maybe I'll play some New Vegas on 360 to try and hold me over.

Yeah, they're half off right now actually, but I'm basically banking on them hitting 75% off because I have all of like 13 dollars to spend on games... I started up New Vegas on my 360 and then my Windows aero broke and turned off which fucking confused me for a second and made me think my 360 was somehow magically connected to my PC, so I pulled up the task manager to see what was going on and my CPU usage was bounding all over the place because of WinSAT.exe, and while typing this out it stopped itself and aero popped back up
apparently this is a thing that happens with windows 7? it's set to run at 1 am, but this is literally the only time I have ever seen it happen and I'm on my computer at 1 am more often than not

i always used to get a pretty high score on these machines when they had them in the arcades, shame they removed them now, and they put some racing arcades in their place.

Halo Reach's ending fucking sucked.
Reach is better than Halo 4 in its current state, although neither are as good as the original trilogy.
Reach has one of my favorite endings ever to be honest
It's my favorite multiplayer wise as well, though storywise I liked 1 and 3 the most
