Well, my new PC is dead. I went to go make breakfast, and when I came back, it had shut itself down and refuses to turn back on. I opened it up and made sure everything was still plugged in and nothing happens. Shit sucks, bro.

Having been without my computer for a week since moving (and not being able to move anything since the AC broke during a heatwave and the repairman's been dragging ass, making any kind of physical moving effort impossible) and out of sertraline as well, I've been irritable as frig lately. Having to sit around with nothing to do, no anti-deps, and only a sluggish Dell D-series to keep me company. Today's irritable thought: it infuriates me that certain 2007-era gaming-related stuff that I enjoyed and continue to stand by (the Wii, Windows Vista, Brawl) are constantly trashed by fanboys of the previous 2001 leaders in those areas (the PS2, Windows XP, Melee), who seem to constantly be trying to revise history and sweep [i]my[/i] stuff under the rug as a mere footnote of the history [i]they're[/i] intent on being the ones to write. It's like my whole life I've been living in the shadow of a bunch of smarmy '80s kids who don't want to give the spotlight up to the following generation and want it to seem like it's been [i]their[/i] industry all this time.

Update: Made sure nothing is touching the motherboard, everything is still plugged in and the switches are all turned on, and the only difference is that pressing the power button causes all of the lights and fans to come on for maybe half a second before it turns back off. I'm at a complete loss.
