Update: Made sure nothing is touching the motherboard, everything is still plugged in and the switches are all turned on, and the only difference is that pressing the power button causes all of the lights and fans to come on for maybe half a second before it turns back off. I'm at a complete loss.
Weird, that sounds like what happens when you try to turn on an unplugged computer while there's still a little bit of juice in the capacitors.
Reseat CPU. Reseat RAM.
They were fine before. Even after reseating both, it's still doing the same bit where it powers on for half a second and then turns off.
I made friends with an inch worm today when I went out for a walk. What a life.
I can't deal with this pain anymore, and I can't afford to see a doctor. I guess I'll try to ride it out
If it's that bad, you need to see a doctor. My mom tried to "ride it out" before and nearly died from a serious infection. [editline]12th June 2015[/editline] I'm a terrible hypocrite though, I'm in huge amounts of pain on an almost daily basis but I don't do anything about it. Don't follow my example :v:

Hi hi morning friends!!
um.. where does it hurt? go to the ER or minute clinic. Pay it later.
It's a slipped/herniated disc in my lower spine, when I injure it, it causes body-wide pain and other messed up shit. Even my fingers and forearms get all tight, tingly, and painful. This hasn't happened for almost 10 years, and the last time it did, it lasted like 15 months. I'm just really anxious it'll happen for that long again.
Today marks the end of the first half of summer classes, spent most of it watching WW1 movies :D
Any good ones you can recommend? Been a while since I was big into War films but never watched a lot of WW1 movies. That is, if you're talking about war movies.
WW1 movies :D
Which ones? All Quiet? Beneath Hill 60? Joyeux Noel? Paths of Glory? Sgt York? The Lost Battalion? The Red Baron? also, I have never had Sunny Side-Up eggs until a few minutes ago when I made them. They were tasty.
I'm thinking, maybe I should stream earthbound or mother 3 today.
Any good ones you can recommend? Been a while since I was big into War films but never watched a lot of WW1 movies. That is, if you're talking about war movies.
Beneath Hill 60 is an Aussie movie about some Aussies at Hill 60, specifically Captain Woodward (real story, actually happened). Joyeux Noel is a French film about the Christmas Truce, very good movie. All Quiet on the Western Front is a classic, there's also the color 1979 tv movie version. Paths of Glory is one of Kubrick's movies, absolutely fantastic definitely recommend it. It's about a French officer, duty, all that sort of stuff. The Lost Battalion is about an American Battalion that was sorta lost there for a few days, based on the real story, pretty good and can be found in parts on YouTube. The Red Baron was OK, the biggest issue I had with it was the fact all the Germans have a German accent but speak English, and the story was sorta weird - still worth a watch though imo. War Horse was alright as well, fictional but heigh (I'm so not sorry), what else are you going to ask for from a movie about a horse in war? The Big Parade is a classic from the silent era. Gallipoli is an Aussie film about the battle of Gallipoli, has a young Mel Gibson in it. It's good. Lawrence of Arabia is one of THE movies on WWI, highly recommend it. For TV shows there is the recent Australian "Gallipoli", there's also fantastic documentaries like Apocalypse: WWI, WWI in Colour, The Great War and the Shaping of the 20th Century by PBS, Our World War, and 14: Diaries of the Great War. Also, there's this bit of comedy. [editline]12th June 2015[/editline] I'm a WWI Buff so if anyone here ever needs to know anything about WWI just let me know. [editline]12th June 2015[/editline] also I can recommend you all games about wwi, and books. just ask, please I need to bug people with this other than my IRL friends.
