When I listen to music (mostly instrumental) I make movements in rhythm with the various sounds while keeping my eyes closed. Sometimes I take it a step further and pretend I shoot lightning and shit. It just feels really relaxing for some reason.
- Whenever I post something anywhere, I always take a few minutes to think out what will happen if I post it. I get over this quickly after getting used to posting there for a while.
Sometimes while I'm listening to music I move my eyebrows to match the melody
Hit myself on the head with a controller if I get really mad, Then instantly regret it because they hurt like fuck. I swear a brick would be less painful
Sometimes when I cross the road I pretend that every car is actually the exact width of the street, so unless I'm standing on pavement when they pass me then I'm dead.
I remember smells to my first experience with things. For example: When I first played Half-Life, which was during the beginning of spring, I had my window open enjoying the cool air combined with the fresh-water scent of melting snow. Now any time I play Half-Life I am reminded of that specific smell. There was one particular TV show I saw many moons ago and was eating chocolate glazed doughnuts. When re-watching said show again, I would smell Chocolate glazed doughnuts. This often occurs with specific hand soap scents as well. After washing my hands, I would smell them and be reminded of something else. It's a strange type of nostalgia.
whenever i go to take a crap, i take all my clothes off in the bathroom because i'm afraid i'll soil them

I have to have a fan on when I take a shit, as I hate the sound of it sliding out.

When i'm walking away from my car or standing anywhere where i can see it i will always look at different parts and sections of it while thinking "i love you" for like 30 seconds.

It's to do with the proximity of the olfactory center of the brain to the limbic system, which is associated with memory. I chew many, many things, constantly I bought a can of 1000 wooden toothpicks, took me a couple of months to get through them, so I bought a new can. I also chew my fingernails, toenails, needles, erasers (used to, not anymore so much) candy wrappers (both paper and plastic), chocolate bar wrappers and so on. I also love to chew unpopped popcorns, and raw spaghetti, macaroni, sheets of lasagne and so on. I play with my fingers constantly when waiting or talking to someone, like all the fucking time, I bend and twist them constantly I need to make sure that all windows are shut and there is no sunlight coming in when I'm at my computer, I really dislike the thought of having someone peek at my doings
whenever i go to take a crap, i take all my clothes off in the bathroom because i'm afraid i'll soil them
I do the same thing except I don't do it for that reason I physically cannot shit unless I'm naked :v:

I prefer sleeping in the day. I don't know why, nothing's open during the night and I'd probably get stabbed.
Although the human face is fairly symmetrical their is a small amount of asymmetry in everyone's face. Also, it's noted that the more symmetrical a face the prettier it is. So, whenever I see a picture of someone I cover half of their face to see if (1) their prettiness increases, and (2) which half is prettier.
it's normally the other way around for me; rather than the experience reminding me of the smell, the smell reminds me of the experience.
Yeah this is what it's like for me too, once I was watching a TV show a lot and always chewed this new type of gum because it tasted really great, after I finished the show and stopped chewing the gum for a while I decided to try it again, and when I did basically everything from the show popped in my head at once, it was a really interesting experience. I think that's smell because I'm pretty sure the things you "taste" aren't actually from your taste buds but from your olfactory system, with taste buds just adding on to it.
I think this is more of a "Holy crap am I a freak? Somebody tell me I'm not the only one who has this weird habit" thread.
whenever i go to take a crap, i take all my clothes off in the bathroom because i'm afraid i'll soil them
I take naked shits too, but only because I feel more comfortable doing so. the clothes restrain my spirit
When I smoked I used to get high and bust out some hardcore ghetto rap and turn into the blackest white guy ever, or I put on a dress shirt and throw on some jazz music. Also, whenever I'm listening to music or watching TV, I run back the lyrics/dialogue in my head in another language, (Russian or German) if that makes sense. Multilingual guys know what I mean. Learning a new language is something everyone needs to do. I now no longer see a butterfly as just a butterfly, I see it as ein Schmetterling, or as a babochki.
Similar to that, I'll toss in some old Spanish words I learned in High School with my own speech. "Be right back, I have to use el baño." [editline]24th May 2013[/editline] Shit like that.
when I'm watching movies or listening to lengthy dialogue, I'll try to figure out if the amount of words spoken is an even or odd number by way of foot taps.
Holy shit I thought I was alone. Except rather than foot taps, I clench the opposite sides of my jaw
I have to have a fan on when I take a shit, as I hate the sound of it sliding out.
eat 2 bags of apples a day and watch it slide out like its on a waterslide son
When I'm bored or tired or some shit like that, I have tendencies to hold my breath for a moment without me noticing it. Then when I release the air, I let out this tiny moan. I didn't even notice that until my friend told me
When i walk along the road and hear a car coming behind me, i start to imagine it's coming right for me. And i start to embrace the possibility that it could infact run me over, any second now. Any second now, aaaaand.. VROooomm...! Nope. Went passed me. I think i hear another car coming..
I bite shit way too often, like leftover bones, aluminum cans and their tops, etc., and I pick and scratch at my hair/scalp, especially in public or when I'm really nervous, I've been told that my scalp is raw and I really need to stop doing so.

I first played the Half-Life games in August, with warm breezes and crickets and shit like that. Now whenever I get that late summer feeling I feel both the nostalgia and the urge to play the Half-Life series again. Same with February and Mass Effect, they just go together for me.
Am I the only one here who never holds down the shift key? I press the caps lock whenever I have to capitalize something. It's really odd.
Am I the only one here who never holds down the shift key? I press the caps lock whenever I have to capitalize something. [editline]wat[/editline] If I have a negative thought or view something negative I feel the need to exhale out of my mouth the negative energy, which doesn't make any sense, and isn't actually happening, but it makes me feel better.
