Virgin are pretty crap. On 50mb and speeds were great the start but now its not great. Unlimited but not during the day, you do anything and you get throttled. Nothing is unlimited just remember that.
we're on 50mb and whilst i can only get 30mb, lithifold has a better network card and averages around 48mb. we had a problem where we were getting "too much internet" and it took about a week to fix but other than that we've had no problems. no problems with download speeds or anything like that. this guy is talking bull ^
Cheers guys and girls.
especially me, your old bestest bud :P
Virgin media are generally static connections. Don't use them if you're planning to download distros, or send packets to certain servers.
I'm stuck on talktalk, wouldn't recommend them unless you like anonymity. They don't cap you for distros, and have refused to comply with the government for the "three strikes" law that was propsed but not passed a while back. But, speeds are shit.
At home we have sky tv, phone and internet
to my knowledge we pay £10 for the internet for an unlimited connection, no speed limit or download limit, also no fair usage on downloads which is awesome so you can download at full speed all day and night if you want.
Orange broadband is a piece of shit. Don't go near it. I'm stuck with 1000ms ping every night until my dad gets rid of this fucking cheap bull.

And no that isn't a typo of 100. I MEAN 1000. No more gaming for me!
