I like all genres of music when they're pleasing to me. I mainly listen to metal and stuff that most people find repulsive, but I have a really open mind when it comes to music. Anything that has a good beat, isn't blasting against values I hold (to a degree), and doesn't sound like shit is fine.

Older Rap (Dre, Ice Cube, Jay-Z, NWA, etc.) is pretty awesome in my opinion, I love it. But most newer rap is shit.

Lil' Wayne and the majority of other mainstream artists are shit. There is some very amazing talent on YouTube and the internet, and around your local areas, you can find people in pubs and clubs that really do have talent.

I love rap. Just fucking hate most mainstream rap. Eminem though, he's definitely in my top 3, right up there with Biggie and Tupac. I can't stand that Lil Wayne asshole.
