Anyone know any good podcasts to listen to while doing homework?
You make mistakes and blunders.
And that's okay. It means you're human.
You're absolutely fine.
[editline]2nd March 2017[/editline]
No, I experience the same thing every now and again.
You are surrounded by wonderful, caring people. You are afraid of making a mistake and losing their approval.
But you need to remind yourself that, to them, you're amazing the way you are.
This helped me feel better. Thank you.
I'll be sure to remember this when I feel down next time.
can i have some
yea there's so many livestreams popping up for it now. its like undertale early days all over again, except without everyone actually buying it lol. i guess people are content just watching a stream. some people i've talked to are even just pirating it which is such shittt
[editline]2nd March 2017[/editline]
we need a sharkle emoticon. doesn't even have to be small can just be fucking massive FUCK consistency.
shave it off, problem solved
this is solid advice tbh I mean I'm probably not gonna return to my current butch cut any time soon but it really does make you assess your facial structure more and when it grows out again you know what to do with it

that sucksssss, they deserve the money
i guess im a little bit hypocritical though because i played it via steam family sharing
but i did buy a copy for my friend b/c he wanted to play it
I don't know why I get this way. I have very caring friends and family, but these thoughts still manage to creep in. It's detrimental because I get quiet and stay locked to myself for hours. My brother told me I had not talked for days one time while feeling this way.
I'm a little scared. Is this a mental problem of sorts?
tbh your outside environment and inner thoughts can be like 1000% different like I've been in rooms full of people that hate me but my brain is like "wow we're all good here pal" then get home and instantly assume my whole family resents me and so do my friends
[editline]2nd March 2017[/editline]
I go through it like twice a month and at random but I also have the depression so that explains the frequency for me... I wouldn't assume mental problems but it would be good to try to figure out the kinda triggers to do with these feelings? it's interesting how something that seems random can actually have a pattern to it
for example: [this me]
[sp]like for me I didn't get a job in high school and I've basically been unemployed my whole life so whenever my family talk about expenses I kinda realise that I'm an investment that hasn't paid at all back so I fell into one of those moods you mention. I mean I almost cried myself to sleep 2 nights ago about it when the only people to get back from the 50 jobs I applied to that week were just rejections because of that, but luckily my fucking great GF calmed me down so I just had a bit of a cry and then got to sleep[/sp]
tbh if somebody calls education an investment that didnt pay itself back I get very angery
it's often not somebody's fault that they couldn't get anything in return for their hard work, never mind the fact that our education systems have a mania for stupidly high grades anyway

I think a lot of this stems from our brains being so irrational unless trained. You have to really work on getting vibes from the atmosphere and body language before you get a knack for it. Some people seem to have no problems with this, maybe because of more genetic inherent understanding.

me personally I just fucked up tbh, I was in all top classes and could easily get all A's in everything (I was doing physics and Aviation and shit) but highschool was when my mental state was the worst so I just ended up failing the last 2 years of high school then 2 years of college after that, but now I have some certificates and I'm studying a diploma so I'm starting to bounce back

For me it was rather the pressure of high school and failing to get medicine with my high school grades that made me spiral into a very deep hole. I had nothing and nobody to amuse myself with for two solid years. No computer, no TV, no internet, no nothing. I barely had a couple hours a day to be by myself reading my books, the sole entertainment I had through all of eleventh and twelfth grade.
i feel ya. i've been trying to figure out the triggers for a while now. i won't stop searching though
it's unpleasant and a struggle but it's ultimately worth it for long term mental health to know what you gotta work towards
Best part about finishing education is not dealing with the pressure of being the best anymore.
Worst part is trying to get a job. :saddowns:
