almost got a nice Subaru Forester (one of the older 98 models before they got kinda "safe mum car") but the inside was pretty rough and the dealer wouldn't step down on the price despite a bunch of little things needing repairing so didn't get it.
all the other Foresters and outbacks I've seen are all out of my price range too so guess I'm getting an '05 astra or a 99' corolla or something
I feel a lot happier at home than at dorms. It's one of the reasons why I will apply for a new uni for next year, one a bit closer. Easier and cheaper to go home during weekends, and all my friends and family will be nearby. Easier to contact them.

It sucks how much of a failure this year has been, performance and social-wise. But luckily it has made me rethink some of my dreams and allowed me to figure out more about who I am and what I want to be. I've come to accept that some things should stay a hobby, I've come to realize that time is plentiful and dreams can be put on hold as long as you don't fully give up on them.
I feel I've also become a better person the past six months. I feel more welcoming and accepting of people, less petty, and lately I've felt stuff I haven't felt in years. For the first time in ages I feel a want for a romantic relationship, a result of me starting to love myself again.
Overall, despite everything sucking a lot some good came out of it.
Always loved comics, but never actually owned any... went to Barnes & Noble yesterday and decided to finally give in, got Preacher Book 1. Can't wait to blow $120 more to get through it all, then start a ridiculous collection.

Isn't that the truth of it? life is what we make of it, after all, sometimes it really sucks when we can't get what we want despite trying our level best, but we can either give up or find the window that opened instead of beating our heads against the closed door.
There's good everywhere if we just look for it.

Is E the failing grade in UK grading system instead of US' popular "F" (for fail)? Or is E a grade above F (if there is an F in the UK grading system) and it's like a passing grade (like usually that of the grade D in US).

U is for ungraded/unclassified
pretty much if you make such an abysmal attempt that it isn't even worth marking, you get a U.
We just use numbers here. From 4(failed) to 10(perfect).
We use both a percentile and a grading system
<40% = fail
41-50% = D
51-69% = C
70-80% = B
81-90% = A
91-100% = A+
My class use classical 0-100
While 75 is a minimum requirement to pass the test.
I think for my class a D is 60%. I'm not sure :s:
