Originally a typo from a finnish word "tumpelo" which means "inept." Sgt added because back then (and now) I played lots of war-themed games like Operation Flashpoint etc.
Coincidentally there's a history behind the word Tupelo which is sort-of connected to me.
On the 5th of May (my birthday) there was a battle of Tupelo in Mississippi if I remember right.
I like popsicles, and I accidentally wrote poopsicle.
Shortened from vanguard
Zakkin is a name I randomly made up when I was around 6.
I thought that Z and K were awesome letters, so I thought Zakky... Zakk... Zakkiz... Zakkin. :D
Made a weird short version of my first name and put the last 2 numbers of my birthdate behind it.
Changed some letters of my real name.

I like to involve internet jargon in my name like in my other account names: roflcopter101 and 1337shogun
Some kid slapped a fucking 1st place ribbon right on my forehead, so it's stuck. The nickname, not the ribbon.
Being Foreman. My mates usually calls me Foreman IRL and 42 because of H2G2.
Boss enemy's tool of destruction in 2002 RPG Morrowind.
I am pretty shit at most things so I was often referred to as the "nub" I sorta liked it so I used Nubsy ever since.
Deadbolt is the name of a song by a band called Thrice. I was trying to make an Xbox Live Gamertag that wasn't already in use, based around the word Deadbolt. I prefer using "x"'s over numbers, so thus xXDEADB0LTXx emerged.
I know a ton of little kids use x's so I'm not overly impressed with my decision, but I don't really care too much.
Mine's meant to be Splunge. I thought I made the word up, although i've been told since that it's from a Monty Python sketch, which is much better.
[quote=dan*;24725556]post the origin of your username here.
I was signing up and wanted to choose a very simple username so i just put my first name.
Really not a whole lot to it.
I didn't think of this when i signed up, but a facepuncher came up with something for the asterix.

I think it was my first online alias I ever used. I wasn't a very imaginative little boy and I thought it was cool to spell it with two o's and two capital D's. Also The because there can only be one.
