• What are terrible design choices in the human body?
Humans retained their body hair because it improves the hydrodynamics of the body. In fact, humans swim faster naked than they do in a swimsuit. Technically I believe they swim even faster if shaved all over but evolution doesn't have a razor so what are you gonna do?
First, how is hair supposed to make us swim faster, yet without hair we're even faster? Second, no hair does not make us swim faster. Elite swimmers shave their entire body before they race. There's body suits that gives them such a speed boost that they're illegal to use in competitions. Source: My brother is an elite level swimmer
Having the windpipe in the front, where it's more vulnerable.
But it would be more vulnerable in the back
Anxiety; if your life is threatened by a predator or you're in an uncomfortable social situtation, how the hell would irrational thinking ever improve the problem? The only thing it succeeds at is causing depression, it's like the appendix of the brain.
the only reason you're getting anxiety is because you're socially awkward
Sleeping We could get so much shit done if we were awake all the time
Instinctive fear... If this terrible design in human body didn't exist, we would be fearlessly squashing spiders with our fists every time we saw one, instead of screaming like a girl and panic.
Elbow nerve, seriously why the FUCK is that thing placed so you always hit it on everything
Brain sleeping during the day, unleashes all the secrets of the universe around 12AM. When I'm pissing in the morning, I start to put it back in, when I again feel something coming, and the 3cm of piss stream, which jumps out decides to be the smelliest of all. Every single kind of contact with another girl leads to thinking about feelings. And almost every single fucked up thing I find out about, I become curious about it, no matter if it's illegal or not.
Do you do anything other than shitpost?
so when you get anxiety being in a social situation thats not awkward do you do anything other than be a shitlord ??? (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - MaxOfS2D))

ummm are you saying gays are a flaw of the human body wow
Uh when we lived 25 - 35 years tops, getting children early was very useful and because of this we live. Not to mention that children with younger mothers statistically are born healthier than with older mothers (18+). I'm not saying I support this and it really makes me sad when I see 14 year olds that are pregnant, but what I'm saying is that hundreds'a thousands of years ago it was useful when we were near extinction at several points. Evolution has not caught up with modern society where 13 - 18 just isn't a good age to have children, but that's a bit tough to control over such a short time. And to the body hair, not all of it is really useless. The bits that may look useless and look like they won't warm at all, is because they're not there to warm. They're there to keep pheromones there so that you will smell attractive, to put it short. Also to look attractive.
We used to live 25-35, but we've gotten past that point. It's even in our genes now to have a longer lifespan, yet somehow this tidbit has remained. It might make sense to wear sunglasses during the day but just because you wear them in the day is no excuse to keep wearing them at night, you know?
The whole "Food and liquids share and can block the same hole that precious gasses use" thing is still resonating with me.
Endocrine system. Wanna tell glands to secrete something? Better tell another gland to secrete a thing that tells another to secrete a thing that finally goes and tells the gland you need to secrete to do its job. Also it's inaccurate (hormones released into entire bloodstream) and takes forever. It works, and that's great, but goddamn is it inefficient.
I suggest you retake 6th grade biology you clearly didn't learn anything without pain it'd be incredibly easy to sit on a chair the wrong way and cut off circulation besides in accidents epinephrines and natural neurotransmitters block pain until the fight or flight response is gone. You only feel pain if you're an idiot.
Yeah dude, totally didn't learn much about pain. Of course I know it's an indicator, but after dealing with pain for days, it gets to the point where you think "life without pain would have its ups and downs, more downs than anything though"
I still think there should have just been one single gender, reproductive efficiency aside, imagine how many social issues would have completely dropped off if that were to happen. Religion related sexism? gone. Societal sexism? gone. There's a lot more if you just think about it but it's 12 am and I don't feel like writing another essay.

Doesn't matter what the differences are, someone will usually bitch about it.
;42616069']People would focus more on differences within that gender then. Excessive sweating for some people. And people like me. I have terrible sweat glands all over my body, and so does my brother. Fuck, even when I wear a fucking causal outfit on a non windy day I sweat like a pig. Worse is when I just got done bathing and I fucking start sweating.
You would also be getting into situations that could easily kill you because you didn't initially fear them.
Indeed, I suppose it was handy in the past, and kind of stupid alone because you would almost like jump into any threatening situations, but today with 10 billion people? Imagine school shootings or like the Batman shooter, technically or in theory, all the people could have fearlessly rushed him, knowing they would sacrifice an X-amount of people in the process, but less than that if they leave the shooter unchallenged.
I think the ratio of genders is pretty skewered. Women want the best man, men want many women. yet there are slightly more women in the world.
Lack of a redundant DNA system or a backup. Since DNA is essentially code it makes sense to have some sort of recovery point to fall back on or a set of basic redundant code in an individual organism to use as a comparison point during cell division and respiration. Seems like that would be a great system to fight against diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders aging, and premature cell death. This would of course require a secondary mechanism that would continually check the DNA within cells and repair damage based on the base code, but such systems do exist in nature.
In the long run that could be extremely detrimental for evolution. If any mutations in cells were constantly stamped out by that system, there'd eventually be no differentiation between any organisms, and some of those changes could be vital for the survival of that said organism.
