Is invisibility(always invisible) a blessing or a curse?

I'm pretty sure footsteps on sand, snow etc. and overall marking of some things and sound made while breathing, walking and talking would make being ignored by people impossible.
Mess with people by holding objects n' shit and make it a thing to be a subtle boyfriend or something.
Didn't they prevent this in the movie Hollow Man by him wearing sunglasses?
The sunglasses prevented him from damaging his eyes because the light directly went through his eyelids. And also to hide that you can look through his whole damn head.
I think it would be cool to go invisible whenever you want, but beeing stuck in invisible mode would be a curse, really.

So, if you touch a wall, the wall would go invisible, then the entire world would go invisible.
I don't get noticed so it really doesn't matter to me
I wouldn't feel different because I already feel invisible to others.
Well considering everything that does or doesn't become invisible seems to be regulated by Pantera here I'd say a curse.

You still haven't invalidated my cardboard cutout idea.
