A vault where the Earth is simulated. Everyone is controlled by a greater power who causes suffering and happiness.
He provides people with food and water while separating everyone by putting them on different continents separated by massive waters masses.
Eventually, people figure out how to traverse this body of water and meet the other people.
They start trading with others and begin to settle on new lands.
Wars break out. Wars of race, freedom, and hate.
Eventually they're all solved, but not before blaming the Controller. Everyone believed in the Controller, but he let things slip by letting everyone cohabitate with one another.
People lose their faith.
The Controller realizes he's made a grave mistake by creating this world and give one of the hated countries mortars. They bomb their nemesis.
A great World War breaks out.
Eventually, they learn to create nuclear bombs. While trying to conserve the planet and help one another, they start to get overzealous.
They fire.
End world.
Will we ever leave this vault called Life?
A vault that is ruled by an Overseer in a Brain Bot.
The Vault is completely automated by Robots, and The Security is made up of 300 Protectrons and 60 Sentry Bots.
The Robots are programmed to be racist and mistrusting against humans, but still programmed to help them when they need it, with the exception of the Security Team, who is horribly oppressive and will shoot to kill anyone who disobeys an order or breaks a law.
The Vault is populated by 1,100 People, who are treated like Prisoners by the Security Bots.
The Goal is to see how long until the Humans get fed up with the Robots, and attempt a to rebel.
To support this, knowledge on how to live without the robots is easily available from terminals and books.
In the event the Humans become complacent, the Overseer may choose one of ways to motivate them, such as dropping schematics for the Security Robots, or a map of Turret locations + Blindspots (areas where no robots can go), or maps to a hidden Armoury (filled with Assault Carbines and Combat Armour).

The children are then brought up with no knowledge of an outside world.

All of the vault's systems are off limits to residents, and are repaired by self-repairing automated systems. The entrance is to the systems core is preceded by a unlit mile deep staircase, followed by a massive, labyrinthine set of hallways, the total length of said maze totals several hundred miles, also unlit. At the end of the labyrinth is a puzzle, that requires the person to figure out what is wrong within the vault, but still allows it to continue living, after this puzzle is solved, the victor is allowed to enter the vault, and input the proper passcode to open the vault door.
