If you want to destroy everything, buy Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Hunted: Demons Forge is a pretty fun coop game.
Left 4 dead 1 and 2, Team fortress 2 (MvM, but you can go medic/whatever combo on a regular server), Killing Floor, GTAIV, Magicka, Portal 2, Saints row 2, Saints row 3.
Brutal Doom in co-op is amazing.
Also SvenCoop for HL1, Synergy and Obsidian Conflict for HL2.
Zeno Clash 2 is a good co-op experience.
Terraria is nice.
Killing Floor, Swat 4, Portal 2 are my personal favorites. I could probably name more, but those are the games that directly enters my mind when I am talk about Co-op games.
Goof Troop, Four Sword, Four Sword Adventures, pretty much any multiplayer Kiryby game, Little Big Planet 1/2, the N64 Mario Party's, Secret of Mana, Kirby Air ride, New Super Mario Bros Wii/Wii U

Leviathan: Warships had a pretty good campaign and the multiplayer can be lots of fun

Dead Space 3 for 2 player Co Op, And The Hidden Source Beta, Ive played it with friends and they love it. It is also Free which is really cool.
