Just a query, how wide are the roads? Is it heavily congested as Egypt? My brother have been to Egypt and it is congested sometimes.

Oman is not Saudi Arabia, and we don't have Sharia law (Religion IS the law in Saudi Arabia). In Oman, they sell Alcohol for non-Muslims, because you are right Muslims do not drink alcohol. Marijuana itself is illegal. However, in Shisha/Hookah, they allow hash, which I think is marijuana derived.
