To be fair, the only reason why my dad is such a Prick is because my bitch of a mom made him terminate his WoW account. He's just as bad as I am, but that's also how he learnt of all these parental controls. [b] Edit : [/b] Proxies don't work. The Parental Control on the internet is at the router level. D-Link. And besides, most of the proxy websites, and downloading sites, (megaupload) along with any image sites are already blocked by it. If I try to disconnect it, I get blocked completely I have no idea.

Just sit them down and have a conversation with them. it's the best if not only way to get through to adults, show them you are mature enough.

I have a few friends who my dad as seen as he picked me up from school, massive druggies, and then he sees me as I come out of school with my 105 grade from honors english. Some how because something happen at some point in time, I'm a bad kid. Oh, and of course my parents' only ideas on good grounding methods is to take away my internet. I get my PSP, TV, IPhone, anything, but my internet. (I can still play Minecraft offline, its ridiculous.)

Alrighty, my parents, well, mom and step dad did this to me around 15, but it's cause they found my porn ;) but that's a whole different story. I'm now 17, 18 in 3 months, and I've got my own computer and shit. Pretty much what I did to get away from the "grasp" is what I call it.. I just sat my parents down and got to the bottom of what the fuck was going on that they couldn't trust me a year, 2 years after the porn issue. Turns out they just forgot. :v: this probably didn't help. but try sitting them down and talking to them.. I also recently got a Mohawk, and they aren't to happy bout' that one, but they'll get over it.
