Already posted in a thread about him, but I met Kid Rock once.
Boy, do I have a stroy to tell you guys about Kid Rock.
There was this Guitar Hero competition at Best Buy. The prize was to get 2 tickets, front row center, to Kid Rock's concert in my town.
Anyways, none of us knew that Kid Rock was actually going to be there. When he first came out he just looked like some random pothead, but it turns out it was him.
So. The first guy starts, and we realize that the T.V. is waaaay out-of-synch with the console, so all of the contestants, including me, were yelling at the people hosting it to synch it.
I was yelling particularly loud. I was about 11 or 12 at the time, so I hadn't developed a deep voice yet.
So Kid Rock, upon hearing me, looks my direcion, points to me and yells:
"Grow a man voice!"
Everyone goes dead quiet as the officials agree to synch the T.V. after Mr. Rock's outburst.
Anyways, I finish 6th out of 300 people. I was pretty pleased, when some random guy I had just met in the crowd yells at Kid Rock:
"Who needs to grow a man voice now?!"
And to this very day I still loathe Kid Rock. I have taken a solemn vow that, upon his death, I shall go to the cemetary in which is he buried and piss on his grave.
I've met a few famous TV Chefs (Ramsey, Ainsley, Jamie Oliver, Gary Rhodes) I also was very nearby when they were filming the Train Scene in Mission Impossible (Which despite claiming to be france was actually scotland) How do I know? Coming up to a railway bridge a copper jumped out and stopped the car i was in, soon after that a train whizzed by and when the film came out I recognised it and parts of the landscape in the movie.
