Pubes, I just trim. Facial hair I shave lightly (leaving that 1-2mm facial hair, it's easier and according to girls I should do that, so I guess I can listen to advice this one time).

This. Unless you have so much leg hair that you trip on it I don't see why shave your legs. Oh and the "but girls tell me it's better!" doesn't work, girls won't like you if you do what they tell you to do (yeah I dislike all this Alpha male shit too, but it's true and the only way to counter it is fame or money, both of which are rare at the age of most FPers).

I tried an epilator once, and it did hurt like hell indeed. But they say that you get used to it after a while. I know a few people which can just rip out hair from their legs without feeling it.
And iirc, waxing is worse for your legs then using an epilator.

Epilators hurt first few times but it gets less painful each time
Well, waxing can like pull of a layer of your skin, which might not be the best ting for your legs.
But an epilator is pretty much the same thing as waxing, without the mess, and probably cheaper in the long run.
