Of course it affects me, him and everyone else. We've read a persons opinion and will instantly make up a thought for it, wheter it is positive, neutral or negative. It'll affect the person reading it because the person will react at it in some way.

It creates more discussion and gets out the real arguments. It also causes childish "no" "yes" "no" "yes" etc etc arguing. Naruto follows a lame stupid and meaningless routine plot setup and holds no meaning at all. It just appeals to the brainless "Kawaii Japan is saiko da yo ~desu" that just fucking loves the culture in Japan and how [I]EVERYONE[/I] in Japan just fucking loves anime and how they have such nice schools and they are the best shizzle with material arts and they would just totally dig me if I had a black belt in taekwondo (It's Korean :v:) and spoke such great Japanese that I learned from animay!
Whilst it's all (as in all anime, especially school anime) highly inspired by American shows sprinkled with candy and very basic and simple Japanese culture with hardly any realism to it at all.
