It will ruin your life
Morrowind is fantastic, but it's pretty old.
Far Cry 3 is great.
-SNIPMISREAD-
If you play arma in organized games most missions take about two hours to beat
If you take your time and try to get a perfect score, any japanese beat em all such as DmC or Bayonetta. It takes a lot of time to get a S rank on every mission.
Speaking of which, dark souls.
And if you're into multiplayer DotA 2 or LoL are pretty long, a single game is usually between 30 and 50 minutes long.
This JRPG on steam called The Last Remnant. Has +100 hours of gameplay
fallout new vegas is really cool, been having fun with that recently.
and if you're into roguelikes, FTL has a lot of replay value, definitely worth the price.
spelunky and rogue legacy are really good too, they have some roguelike elements, a lot of replay value and are fairly affordable
The new XCOM actually has a surprisingly high amount of content. You might also want to look into Sins of a Solar Empire.

If you play on long-term MSO servers it can last for months, sometimes even years.
Oddly enough, for me, Half Life 2 took me, approximately, 18 hours to finish. 20, if you include all the mini rooms I HAD to check out.
Saints Row the Third. I've, literally, had 18 hours in it, finished a few quests, and just now got to 10% completion. But, the best part? It's so fucking stupid and amazing, you'll be playing it for hours. Especially when you can put Nitro on a fucking golf cart.
Deus Ex 1 and Human Revolution are pretty long, as well.
The Binding of Isaac can certainly get pretty addicting. I highly recommend you try the demo on Newgrounds if you're gonna get it though to see if its your style.
Red Alert 2?
Super Deep Throat
What are you talking about? I can finish that in a couple of minutes.

causal
The Sims
Hours upon hours of being stupid
XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Dark Souls
Dota 2
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Euro Truck Simulator 2
Hitman series
Deus Ex series
X3: Terran Conflict.
Think Freelancer except you can own a fleet of ships, and build your own space stations. There's no end, until perhaps the whole universe is your bitch thanks to your money-printing space empire.
baldurs gate
STALKER games are all pretty long.
I've spent 37 hours on call of pripyat already, and I've barely done any quests and I've only found like 2 of the helicopters for the main quest which is the beginning of it.
Shadow of Chernobyl I've spent a lot more time on.

I have over 60 hours on all three.
Fallout: New Vegas can take away a lot if you install custom house and companion mods, same with Fallout 3.
The original Thief series.
Garry's Mod.
I'll just suggest a few from different genres.
Civilization series - I like Civ 3 the most, it's accessible and still has enough depth, it runs on every pc
Stalker series - Great atmospheric shooter if you get past the somewhat weird asthethics and setting.
Dark Souls - Countless replayablitiy with very satisfying combat
Dragons Dogma - Great action RPG with tons of areas to explore and epic fights
Red Dead Redemption - Amazing story with tons of sidequests
X-Com Enemy Unknown/ UFO Defense - Failing is part of the fun
Stronghold Crusader - Challenging game with a perfect mix of sim and strategy
Master of Orion 2 - Easy to learn but hard to master 4X game, a classic
Fallout series - Every Fallout game offers an openworld filled with cool quests, unique characters and funny dialogues
Killing Floor - Really satisfying coop shooter for mindless action, great gunplay and shooting
Left 4 Dead - The ideal coop shooter which challenges you and your friends, a lot of variety and fast paced gameplay
In a similar vein to above, Knights of the Old Republic I and II, at least 40 hours per, bare minimum.
La Mulana
