13.
Well to give you some credit, I placed you more at 15-16 simply for how good you type :v:
I suspect that it also has to do with autism, though that's just me.
Like RenegadeCop said, it's definitely not autism. There's tons of autistic people who aren't like you. And in fact when I was about your age (about a year and a half older actually) I knew a lot of autistic people and none of them had the same viewpoints you're talking about.
That I will do. You see, when I mean "I won't do anything", I mean things like committing to making a garden/limiting my use of plastic/not using cars. If I'm able to encourage other people to help the planet then I'd gladly do so. Oh, and thank you for staying calm in this discussion, I looked some pages back and saw that people were acting like absolute asses to me when I brought it up the last time.
Of course my man, almost everything can be solved with rational discussion And hey, although those other things are cool too the important thing is stopping companies from trashing the earth because a lot of them are so effective at it- and that can be achieved through the incredibly low-effort act of mail-in voting. [editline]29th July 2016[/editline]
I suspect that it also has to do with autism, though that's just me. Seriously though, I can't believe people actually tried to convince me to change my opinion by straight-up insulting me. That's going to do nothing more than make me not want to listen.
I know you might think that it won't get better now, but chin up. Things do get better if you're the loner type at that age, and life gets a lot more fun. It did for me at least. [editline]29th July 2016[/editline] Also yeah I'm agreeing with other users you're very well-spoken for your age
Time for another unpopular opinion: Sex offenders shouldn't be jailed and given a life-ruining sex offender list registry, they should be given psychiatric help, then be released back into society under strict monitoring once they are no longer considered a danger.
this MP knows unpopular opinions
[t]https://ln.steamy.moe/xnhukj.png[/t] http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/russian-politician-behind-anti-gay-law-wants-to-decriminalise-domestic-violence-a7159726.html
There are no useful guidelines to determine when a person has stopped being dangerous. People who commit awful crimes should absolutely be in prison. Psychological aid should be a part of that process, but it cannot be counted on, because some people are truly, legitimately hopeless and will be a danger to everyone around them for the entirety of their lives. Rapists and child rapists are some of the worst people we have.

Like, maybe have it be required to say whether or not they got out for serving their time fully, good behavior, details like that would probably give the public a better idea as to just exactly how threatening the sex offender in question could potentially be. though, i'm probably making it out to be more simpler and optimistic than it actually is, i'm not very good on the subject of law
nah the sex offender registry is definitely a load of nonsense I mean murderers aren't required to go around their neighborhoods telling people that they're a murderer it's pretty clear that it's just a bunch of "protect the children" propaganda nonsense
nah the sex offender registry is definitely a load of nonsense I mean murderers aren't required to go around their neighborhoods telling people that they're a murderer it's pretty clear that it's just a bunch of "protect the children" propaganda nonsense
Wow, really? I didn't know that, though I'd still be in favor for keeping the sex offender registry, just not with the current SORN laws, and along with similar processes for other crimes.
So...murder? Oh man, I wanna hear this.
Four scenarios: 1) An early term abortion 2) A late-term abortion 3) A soon-post-birth abortion (call it a murder if you want) 4) I kill a man with a wife and family One of these is not like the other. Not two, one. I can't convince myself that fetal viability, fetal heartbeat, fetal whatever-have-you that various people have suggested for the cutoff for abortion to be acceptable... is at all sensible. Huh.
SH should be glassed
This is the unpopular opinions thread
i hate milk chocolate, its processed shit and tastes bad. same with processed cheese slices and bolonga.
i hate milk chocolate, its processed shit and tastes bad. same with processed cheese slices and bolonga.
Had homemade bologna a week ago, the processed kind ain't shit in comparison.
my unpopular opinion would be, I dont think pokemonGo is that great
SH should be glassed
On the other hand, a few times a year a classic like this thread is spawned and that makes it all worthwhile. [editline]30th July 2016[/editline] seriously though how do you have a meltdown that severe over fucking oven mitts
I am not trying to be edgy or something along the "this generation sucks", but I feel annoyed when watching the new Star Treks. Some things are really off about them. Maybe the cast, maybe the story, may also be the way they are directing it, and a lot off stuff I can't really put my finger on. I had more fun rewatching Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Multiple times this week along with all the 6 TOS era movies. I can tell the old cast is just perfect, with the way they are interacting with each other, aged like fine wine. And yes, Star Trek: The Motion Picture is a good good movie.
And yes, Star Trek: The Motion Picture is a good good movie.
Okay, opinions and all, but unless you're talking about the 2001 re-cut (which I haven't seen so I can't judge it), you have got to be high as a kite to say that.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist was an excellent movie. Though I wouldn't say that if the movie was made nowadays.

Anything violent? Tough shit. Kids involved? Fuck off. Many sexual offenders are the absolute bottom of the barrel and have debilitating mental issues that are difficult to treat, and impossible to rehabilitate. Trying to predict the behavior of an insane person is not easy, and I don't like the prospect of putting the rest of the population at risk given how easy it is to just up and disappear for years at a time. Some drunk moron being labeled a sex offender because he took a piss in public is one thing. Someone diddling a 12 year old, or stalking someone, raping them, then trying to kill them is an entirely separate ballgame.

I started nodding off during the Enterprise scene, then fell asleep when they went into the blue anomaly thing. A 360 degree shot of the ship straight into a cut to Kirk entering would have made it a lot better. Edit: I think Disney has some of the most memorable villains ever, even if you included the Marvel films (Civil War and Winter Soldier). Sure they can be over the top, but they work in their own worlds and some of them can be quite terrifying ie Judge Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist was an excellent movie. Though I wouldn't say that if the movie was made nowadays.
Too bad they're making the sequel
Steve Oedekerk gotta pay those bills somehow
Well I didn't say it in the post but I am guilty of skipping the cloud entering part until something happens.
Even without the overly long, dreadfully boring shots of the Enterprise and V'Ger, the movie is riddled with problems.
Too bad they're making the sequel
i wish they'd try a parody on bollywood, for example, instead of a direct sequel
my unpopular opinion would be, I dont think pokemonGo is that great
As a game it's kinda shallow, but it works fine as a good excuse to go roaming around.
don't kill all sum bitches
Too bad they're making the sequel
I'm still watching that shit.
there is absolutely nothing wrong with flagburning [sp]aside from the fact that it's cliche[/sp]
