Gaming mice would be a lot cooler if you could switch the "double click" button to a turbo button like in those old MadCatz DualShock controllers. I know the 5 button mouse is often a "must have", but still!

It'd be kind of dangerous, tbh. Some multiplayer games will ban for that such as overwatch. I'd just stick to autohotkey for singleplayer stuff, using binds to replicate that. Because god knows that some game designers are such assholes that a turbo is needed
I have a side button on my mouse bound to the enter key, it's incredibly convenient for games that don't do mouse control well, or dwarf fortress

I have unfollowed everyone on facebook that has ever used it as a political soapbox, and now out of 100+ friends I only see three different people's vacation pictures in my feed. It's fucked; I'm glad everybody feels so strongly about tax policy and foreign diplomacy, but it's kind of a waste because almost nobody actually knows what they're talking about.

Would it even be possible to ban a physical circuitry quirk? I know that there are ways to emulate the console-style turbo button through macros, though if a hold-to-rapid-leftclick button was physically on the mouse, wouldn't that be physically impossible to ban?

Depends entirely on the state as the age of consent (as well as romeo and juliet laws) vary state to state. Some states the aoc is 16, others 17, and some 18.

I'm not sure what state you're in but as far as I know pretty much every single state has a clause accounting for people close in age where one is technically underage but the other is legally an adult. (Usually three years iirc.)

Not really, but companies like blizzard will detect it/respond to reports (some characters have perfect accuracy with a well-setup macro) and then ban you.
Though, it'll probably be much harder to get banned since their anti-cheats are less likely to be able to detect the software.

It's also used to express happiness for someone when something noteworthy and special happens to them no matter how big of an "achievement" it is. You're trying to change the definition of the word congratulations for arbitrary reasons.
Going by your logic we shouldn't congratulate anyone for anything because the same thing happens to hundreds of people every day.

I never liked these old kind of cartoons where it's just obnoxious dickhead characters put into situations where they do the same shit all the time
That's not what they are though? They're pretty clever shows with stupid main characters, like spongebob but slightly less skewed to children. R&S and beavis and butthead are pretty different plots episode to episode

narratives and clever visual puns can't carry a show about unlikeable people with annoying voiceovers

Take any given episode of ed edd n eddy and it's always the same thing
Ed/Edd (I don't remember which is which) wants to get money for jawbreakers so he comes up with some kind of scam, he acts like a dickhead, Edd/Ed acts borderline retarded, Eddy acts neurotic and points out the obvious faults in the plan and gets ignored
Everyone gets pissed at them, the scam fails, and they don't get jawbreakers
You have now watched every episode of that show

Except I specifically said ren and stimpy and beavis and butthead. You may have a point with Ed Edd and eddy, even though I'd argue that despite having similar setups they still have something different. I was never a big EEE person anyway, but I know they're not "awful"
