2016 Freshman XXL are all ass except for Anderson .Paak yes, that includes lil dicky
Queen (the band) is overrated
The band as a whole? Yes. But A Night at the Opera is a fantastic album. [editline]20th August 2016[/editline]
You can say why something happened without being bias. "The french revolted because they were unhappy with the king" as opposed to "The glorious outstanding french people overthrew the nasty and disobedient king"
You could even go as far as to say "the French peasantry were increasingly dissatisfied with the worsening conditions and growing wealth of the French aristocrats" without sounding biased, because it's true. The same thing that is happening today right now in much of the west which can be blamed on conservative and neoliberal "trickle down" economics, which sounds like a left wing bias, but is still true.
Unpopular opinion: "Smart" TVs are a retarded gimmick and 9 times out of 10 they're finnicky bullshit
They aren't inherently bad, but they're hardly ever done well because each company is garbage. Each implementation seems to be either slow, insecure, abandoned early, abusive towards the user, or all of the above. As of right now, and probably for awhile, it's much better to make it smart yourself. It can be quite useful to have it smart.
Smart TVs just seem redundant to me in most case. Blu-ray players, consoles, IPTV boxes, etc. can already do the same things nowadays as far as I know. It feels like it was just invented to get people to buy new TVs and make them become obsolete quicker. As far as I'm concerned (if I ever buy a TV) I'm basically looking for a big, reliable monitor, not an extra layer of bloatware.
I think there's too many early access indie survival games that offer little to no content worth what they're selling it for. [editline]21st August 2016[/editline] Or too many early access indie survival as a whole, really
I never hated Federation Force, and honestly, thinks it looks kind of fun.
:v: is overused most jokes work better when you don't try too hard to make them look like jokes
2016 Freshman XXL are all ass except for Anderson .Paak yes, that includes lil dicky
lil dicky is the worst
:v: is overused most jokes work better when you don't try too hard to make them look like jokes
Sometimes I would post something sarcastic but ppl would think it was genuine because it was too subtle, sometimes you need a :v: unfortunately
I never hated Federation Force, and honestly, thinks it looks kind of fun.
I don't hate it or have any spite towards nintendo because of its existence, but it just doesn't look like a good game to me
i have spite for it simply because i fucking love metroid and it feels wrong to see its name abused for something that has little to no relevance to the series
I actually liked dead space 3 and the coop in it. Had some of my best coop moments of my life in gaming in it.
I actually liked dead space 3 and the coop in it. Had some of my best coop moments of my life in gaming in it.
As much as the story was forgettable, DS3 was legitimately a really fun co-op game.
People should have to apply for a license to have children. Must meet certain psychologica, medical and financial requirements.
People should have to apply for a license to have children. Must meet certain psychologica, medical and financial requirements.
i can see why you would think that but i really doubt that'll work well in practice. at best, it'll be a waste of time, resources, and money.
People glorify working too much. There's really nothing wrong about being a slacker, and being overworked is nothing to be proud of.
People should have to apply for a license to have children. Must meet certain psychologica, medical and financial requirements.
Would you require child license checks any time you saw someone with more than one kid, too? How about instead of limiting childbirth licenses to your own idea of the "right" people, why not work on society as a whole in order to ensure that people are competent enough to handle parenthood?
People should have to apply for a license to have children. Must meet certain psychologica, medical and financial requirements.
we should keep making new laws forever until our daily lives are ruled by paranoia and bureaucratic paperwork
"Our apologies, sir and madam, but your child was unlicensed. Give me a moment to find my cyanide capsule, and we can right that little paper work error!" probably a more effective child services and better education would get the goal you're looking for a bit more effectively
People should have to apply for a license to have children. Must meet certain psychologica, medical and financial requirements.
I think we should empower and fund social services more and I'm all about that big gov, but jesus fuck man I didn't think some people were genuinely holding such beliefs
I think we should empower and fund social services more and I'm all about that big gov, but jesus fuck man I didn't think some people were genuinely holding such beliefs
It's not that horrible of an idea, all it means is that you need to be mentally stable enough (financial situations are a bit eh so I wouldnt count on that) It would spare the children the trouble of having abusive families
you're sick in the head if you think any authority should have the power to prevent you from being human the number of people who've grown to believe that the government should play a central role in their lives has grown so staggeringly high lately
"the number of people with a different opinion than me has grown so staggeringly high lately" i actually agree with your view but fuck man quit bein so close minded
My extended thoughts are that no one is willingly brought into this world so you should be gauranteed a stable and healthy childhood if you are. Social services does not even remotely guarantee that. I don't think many realize just how sensitive children are to their external environment and how many people are completely unfit to be raising a child Imagine what it would do for poverty, crime, mental illness, education.
Imagine what it would do for poverty, crime, mental illness, education.
so basically you're advocating for eugenics while trying to phrase it as gently as possible
People that have come from bad parents and poverty have also become successful and accomplished individuals(and I'm not just talking about actors and athletes, for example bankers, businessmen, engineers, etc.), not everyone is a burden. You should really calm down and go do something else when one of your opinion's conclusions ends up being that a certain group of people shouldn't exist.
so basically you're advocating for eugenics while trying to phrase it as gently as possible
Kid gets a good life and society benefits overall. It's just a side effect of my main point anyways. I believe bringing a kid into the world into substandard conditions is the most selfish thing you can do in life. To pass them your mental problems or not have enough money to feed them or just straight up abuse them.
