In short, you wanna fail.
Like I said, right your self and the world get righted along side with you.
Do any thing else and you are making things worse.
I absolutely do not understand the gamer obsession with maximum framerates and anything below 60 being unacceptable. I'm not saying the difference between 30 and 60 doesn't exist, I do notice it, but it's like a minute difference to my eyes. It's really not worth it to me to shill out a couple hundred bucks (or even thousands!) for the components sufficient to run the latest game at 60+. I just turn down the graphics until I don't get stutter and that's good enough for me.
In fact, super FPS whores are plain alien to me, it started with my brother being a crazy CSGO player and getting mad when the FPS counter in his corner dipped from 60 to 40. He got so pissed at the temporary dip that I didn't notice whatsoever.

Also remember that in his case you weren't playing, so you dont feel it because you aren't interacting with the game.
I go even further and play at 144 fps and to maintain that I have to turn a lot of games down, since I have a 3 year old build (replacing when zen is out.) Its weird, I can certainly notice when it takes a dive to even like 100. And when I accidentally set overwatchs max fps to 60 it felt like garbage. 60 is basically my new 30.
And the best part is I actually cant easily tell when just looking, only when playing. In fact, 60 fps video on youtube still looks a lot smoother than 144 fps simply because the motion blur works so well when you aren't playing. Films generally run at 24, but still look fine because of this as well.
Personally I try and get 60 fps on the highest resolution I can get because I want to get 100% of the experiance I can get out of it
If I want to make the game pretty I'll risk 30 fps at 2160p, but, ONLY to look at shit. SO not worth it in 30 fps cause it feels sloppy. at 30 fps a games response time is way down and it just doesn't control as well as it should.
Me being calm won't stop corporate and governmental oppression of those with lesser power.
Governments exist because the masses are collectively emotionally unstable.
The more unstable the population is, the more power they can get. Same with corporations. They do this with propaganda, advertisement and ideals. Such as religion, consumer goods, conservative, leftist ideals, right ideals, ect..
Like I said a person who rights them selves will find the world righting itself along with them. Dont do this and the more you try to right the world (with out righting your self) the shittier it will get. The world is shit because we are shit. To disagree with me is only to support and fuel the oppression and exploitation you speak of. This includes both your self and minorities.
Take your pick.
If you're having a mental health crisis, you shouldn't have to go to work and it should be illegal for your employer to fire you for it.
I dunno about Canada but as far as I know here in the UK it is pretty much illegal to do that.
I really can't enjoy Overwatch, despite trying to like it.
Some of the problems I personally have with it:
- To me, all the weapons feel like they have absolutely no punch to them and hence shooting people is rarely satisfying.
- A lot of the stats and abilities are really counter-intuitive to me. Like, for example, if I didn't look it up just now, I would have had no idea about how armor actually works or what the difference between Shield, Health and Armor is.
Another example would be the fact that most, but not all weapons are able to headshot, and on some heroes like Bastion or D'va, I have absolutely no idea where to shoot at to get the extra damage.
There's also the fact that some explosives deal self-damage, and others don't while still dealing damage to enemies, like Junkrat's concussion mine. Then there's attacks that don't look like they should deal self-damage but do, like Zarya's mortar -- I find it an absolute mess.
- After you die, you often have to walk a very long distance all the way back to the objective with nothing going on until you arrive there. That just kills the flow of the game for me.
- Personally, I feel like there are too many classes to choose from, and the classes themselves have little variety going for them on their own. Less (and a bit more fleshed out) would've been more.
Coming from games like Doom, Quake and Team Fortress I just feel like there's too much stuff going on at the same time in Overwatch, with too little indication, and I never really feel in control of the action.
Content Aware Scaling gifs and the like aren't funny.
If you're having a mental health crisis, you shouldn't have to go to work and it should be illegal for your employer to fire you for it.
This is unreasonably broad.
FMLA type leave already exists. An employer should not be under any obligation to retain your position when you are out of work for an indeterminate amount of time. If you are out long term, they are required to find a replacement to maintain productivity. What are they going to do, fire your replacement when you can work again? Keep employees they don't need or want around? Either one is just absurd. Even if they had to keep you around, you can bet they'd find any petty excuse to shitcan you at the first opportunity.
You cannot legislate against that behavior effectively without creating bureaucratic nightmares that enable silver spoon sucking parasitic behavior from some workers. That drives the costs of everything up. That's why unions have killed several major industries.
That and there's a ton of jobs that simply require you to be mentally clear. If you can go off the rails without provocation, you can put other people's lives at risk. Maybe not in some office cube job, but in plenty of manufacturing environments, or things like air traffic control.
Better solution to me at least, seems to once again be universal healthcare and minimum income. It distributes the costs across society as a whole, instead of potentially really shitting on certain industries, and allows employers to effectively cull the bad employees. It's also legally a lot simpler.

I recently bought a 144hz monitor and the difference between 144 and 60 is night and day, dipping below 60 is immediately noticeable and jarring (however less so because of g-sync). To me, 60fps is the minimum.
When it comes to city planning (both in city building games and real life), I prefer grids over more organic designs. Call them boring, call them ugly, but they're damn efficent with no random dead ends, no weird interesctions, and it's impossible to get lost in them.
i hate smartphones
This is so broad it barely makes sense
Older phones who don't break all the time and aren't expensive as fuck are better.
Older phones who don't break all the time and aren't expensive as fuck are better.
older phones also have like 1/100th of the capabilities that new phones do
sure, they can text and call but smartphones can do so much shit that i dont understand why anyone would be against them. i can communicate with anyone at any time, watch movies and tv, listen to music, play games, get directions, look shit up, all while being able to call and text
This is so broad it barely makes sense
ok, to be more specific, i hate any phone that's basically a tiny, limited computer that you can carry around and play games on and call/text people with. i'm not saying they're objectively bad, or anything like that, if anything they're amazing pieces of technology that truly show how far we've come.
i personally just don't like them. mostly for money reasons, but still.
i find it very annoying when people misuse then/than, i wish it didn't bother me so much but than again everyone makes mistakes

I got a computer for a reason, my phone isn't supposed to replace it and I just want to be able to call people. Taking photos would be only thing that would be good for me, but older phones can do that as well. So it's not worth it for me.
I use my smartphone for almost anything but calling and texting. I use Facebook messenger or Whatsapp rather than texting, and I only call when it's a time-sensitive issue. I use it to read PDF documents when on the go, or look up information online. I listen to music on it. t serves as my casual camera even though I have a DSLR for more serious photo-taking. I use it to find out where I am, where I want to go, and how to get there. I play mobile games on it (mostly FreeCell and puzzle games) to pass time. I can call a taxi from almost anywhere in a few minutes. I use it as a calculator. I can jot down random thoughts that come to mind throughout the day.
It genuinely baffles me that people hate smartphones given all the functionality they give to us in such a small package.

There are some really cheap budget smartphones out there that are just as cheap if not cheaper than flip/slide phones of the old days
pissing while sitting down feels very relaxed and peaceful (at least on your own toilet, because no one likes mystery hairs in the gas station stalls)
