Unpopular Opinions V6 You know maybe fascism wasn't all that it was cracked up to be

I just think that Steven Universe is only popular because of the whole bandwagon thing. People see that other people are watching it and get warped into thinking "oh if they like it, it must be good" and then they kind of get tricked into thinking its good.
Obviously i could be completely wrong. Its like when i tried watching Arrested Development and Always Sunny, i watched it because so many people said how funny and good it was, but i watched it and just found it stupid. I guess i'm not the type of person that watches stuff UNTIL i like it i suppose.

This comes across as really stupid, lol. You're effectively stating that everyone's experiences are the same as yours and as such nobody watches any of those shows because they like them but simply because everyone else is watching them. Which is stupid as hell. I find Arrested Development and Always Sunny stupid as hell (never watched Steven Universe), doesn't mean my opinion is identical to everyone else's though.
Uwe Boll is cool.
I absolutely love the conservative society I'm living in. I don't get how why is "diversity" a problem, when employers aren't even hiring those fully capable of the job. If there was more different cultures brought into Estonia, it would only lead to vandalism, protests, and more crime. It's better to just sit with your own kind at a table and discuss politics of your own problems than have these foreigners shouting to bring their own shit here and take our shit.
Our politicians might be kissing the EU and USA's ass, but the actual people here want to set everything else on fire and have a barbecue. I love my people.

You've got it completely backwards. Because you perceive there's a bandwagon, you have higher hopes and are way easier to be let down as a result. You get hyped because people are assholes and can only use the biggest and best words to describe anything from the top shelf, and you are also skeptical because you have higher, skeptical expectations - especially if you're saying things like that.

I think people are more bothered about how it was handled by the government rather than the event itself
Fallout 4 is pretty mediocre.
I wouldn't call it mediocre. But I can see where you're coming from.
The things Fallout 4 does right, it does exceptionally well. Everything else is kinda meh.
Fallout 4 sucked.
[editline]15th April 2016[/editline]
I've never tuned out and completely lost interest in a game as fast as I did with Fallout 4.
I really enjoy classic rock, esp. psychedelic rock, late 60's-early 80's hard rock etc. etc.
It sucks because people automatically assume that I'm an elitist about my musical tastes, or that I'm just a square who listens to his parent's music. Truth is my music taste overlaps with my parents' maybe 20% max. It's just the music that speaks to me the most and that I've always enjoyed the most, and got the most out of.
I wish I was allowed to just enjoy whatever music I wanted without people thinking I'm weird. It's not that I don't like modern music, rap etc. I'll enjoy listening to it from time to time if it's playing where I am but I never consciously decide to play it on my own time.
I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the Fargo tv show was mediocre.

I think everything besides the speech system (which got gimped like hell, sadly), and the main plot (waaay too linear) were well improved upon. I still don't know why Bethesda doesn't let Obsidian handle the story telling.

I found that when people are recommended a popular show with a hated fanbase like SU they instantly think less of the show. I've had friends who have been extremely harsh on things I recommended to them like MLP or Undertale because they has notoriously bad fanbases.

why do "different cultures" lead to vandalism? what makes "foreigners" more likely to take your shit?

I understand it helps some people cope with hard times, but maybe I'm just a dick, but aren't there other ways than dedicating your whole life and all your morals to one cause that nobody can prove exists? It just seems too simple for me.
Contrariwise, I wonder what would happen if an actual faith directed at and serving a god that does in fact exist, and does in fact respond to prayers if they have merit, have on existing faiths that don't have such a prop to stand on.

You're really bad at sugarcoating the fact that you're a racist.
The common consensus i've seen on that front is that, when people utterly lose their faith in something, their first immediate reactions usually hinge on hysteria and denial, then it can go down one of two routes; they either run away from anything that defined their faith and try to destroy themselves in the process, or they attempt to spend the rest of their lives attacking the cause that succeeded in bringing down theirs.

This is why "overrated" should never be a word used in the review of something. A piece of media should not have its rating or review hindered by things outside of the media's control, like fandoms.
Perfect Dark is the best game on the N64.

Not sure what that has to do with anything, we are clearly in agreement. We should be free to "sit with our own kind" and discuss the vandalism foreigners bring with no fear of these completely unwarranted accusations of racism

I feel you, brother. I, too, cannot resist defending even the most blatantly xenophobic of posts if it means I can vaguely tie it with my ideology. Mental gymnastics is good exercise, they say
Can we all get together and admit that Kanye West is only "revolutionary" because instead of limiting himself to drum machines he limited himself within the boundaries of pop electronic music, and that when the entirety of music is considered he's pretty mediocre and only made popular by marketing stunts and an "I'VE BEEN DOIN' THIS MORE THAN U" ego?
That reminds me that I gotta get around to making that rap bingo card I've been thinking about, because as much as I would love to love rap music, even the underground rap music that I listen to still suffers from terrible cliches and unoriginal ideas.

Even bigger unpopular opinion incoming.
Something I really don't get either is why left-wing parties in some Western European countries seem to absolutely fucking hate everything about their own countries and culture.
Egregious examples are left-wing parties in Sweden and Germany, who openly sprout shit like that their countries would be better without their native population and culture. Sweden being an especially bad offender in the way that some of said leftist politicians say that Sweden has no culture at all, and that they would be better of if they would be more like an African country. Why the fuck are they wanting to run said country then? Or why the fuck do people even vote for them in that case? If they want to be that tolerant, why don't they move to Zimbabwe or Saudi Arabia themselves then? Don't they show all the tolerance those left-wing parties in Germany and Sweden want?
And to be honest, I don't like the current EU's definition of ''diversity'' either. In their eyes, ''diversity'' means importing millions of Middle Eastern and North African folks. Despite the fact that all through West Europa, it has already shown for decades that they are really, really bad at assimilating compared to other immigrants, because their values are barely compatible with the Western world (especially left-wing/liberal values, go figure), which leads in enough of them pretty much refusing to assimilate. Even when they got the same chances, or even more chances than other immigrants, they still have a significant part completely failing to assimilate, with all the problems that brings. It is not a good sign that some are here for three generations now, and are actually less assimilated than the first generation. And in typical leftist fashion, those left-wing parties will never look at that issue. Whoever tries to make that point, is automatically a racist in their book. So, they ignore it, the issue keeps growing, and you'll end up with literal no-go shitholes in Europe like Molenbeek. A literal terrorist breeding ground right under the nose of the EU, where Europe's most wanted terrorists can manage to hide out for FOUR WHOLE MONTHS. IN THE SAME CITY AS THE EU HEADQUARTERS. That's how fucking bad it is getting. If you told this to anyone back in 1990, they would have thought that you were taking crazy pills.
Issues like that keep piling up and piling up, and yet the top brass in the EU thinks that importing a few million more of the same people will magically fix this shit. Everyone with a lick of common sense can see that it isn't going to fucking work. Yet they insist in choosing for us, despite not even getting elected by the European people themselves! And then they complain when people in Europe become more right-wing, anti-EU and more nationalistic. It isn't like we are getting an absolutely terrible deal all around with the choices the EU has made lately. Those politicians forgot that they should rule for the people, and not over the people. That isn't even getting started in how the politicians pushing for this mass immigration do everything they can to ensure those immigrant centers are as far away as possible from their homes as possible. And then they complain and go 'how dare they' when towns of a population of 10000, which are mostly native Dutchies, with a ''us knows us best'' countryside mentality go on a riot, when their town council tries their hardest to push a 3000-man immigrant center on them, despite the politicians knowing damn well that assimilation like that just doesn't goddamn work.
No, we don't want our cultures to be eroded. Despite all the fucking bullshit the EU sprouts that we should do away with Europe's national cultures and histories.
Literally the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard. I ain't even really natively European myself (Grandparents were from Indonesia, fled in the 50's after all the shit hit the fan there), yet politicians sprouting this bullshit make me sick to my core. Why should we ever do away with Europe's cultures and histories as they are? Aren't those cultures and histories of the European countries not diverse enough somehow for those politicians? Why should we throw that all away, why should we throw millennia of history and culture away, just so some politicians can feel better about themselves in their ''holier than thou'' wankfest? It's an absolute disgrace.
tl;dr Why would anyone want to lead a country while hating said country and culture? Yes I'm mad, but damn, it feels good to vent.
