Having re-installed GTA 4 EFLC, if you honestly think GTA 4 had better vehicle handling than 5, you are fucking delusional.
I honestly hoped for the vehicle handling to be similar to Mafia 2. I prefer IV to V because IV actually was a preview for the suspension physics that Rockstar could pull off. The shit we saw in GTAV was like an early NFS game aside from the aircraft and boat handling, which was seriously up in the simulator levels

Disturbed is actually really good and their concerts are fucking fantastic
Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence is hilariously bad.
Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence is hilariously bad.
Y'know, I see this, but the main reasoning behind people's dislike of it is the dislike of the band tiself and its immediate association with poor quality. Rather than actually discussing why they think it's bad, 9 times out of 10 it's "It's not like the original song!!!" It's like people who bitch about Garage Inc., because their precious little songs got "made bad" by a band just having fun with their song.
They're are a bad band and they made a bad cover of a song. That's my reasoning.
Y'know, I see this, but the main reasoning behind people's dislike of it is the dislike of the band tiself and its immediate association with poor quality.
or maybe it's just not a good cover?
Seeing this a lot on different sites but chiming in m'self: Skyrim was really fucking bad and was arguably a massive letdown. The fact that you have to pump it full of mods for it to be enjoyable is just a way to show how piss-poor the base game is
Rather than actually discussing why they think it's bad, 9 times out of 10 it's "It's not like the original song!!!"
It has nothing to do with it being inferior to the original (even though it is), it has to do with it just not being a very good song on its own. That and I can't stand David Draiman's voice at all.
It's like people who bitch about Garage Inc., because their precious little songs got "made bad" by a band just having fun with their song.
Having fun making a song doesn't excuse someone from criticism.
Drew Barrymore isn't all that attractive.
I do like disturbed. But the sound of silence cover was indeed shit, its just a song that doesn't play to their musical strengths, at least not how they did it. It ran like shit, and for literal months had a bug that'd freeze the game if you entered water. It also had a gamebreaking bug that deleted my brothers save and I was blamed, so I'm very salty ofc.

I don't regularly listen to Disturbed and I guess I'm still coming off of that post-concert hype. Y'gotta admit that their light shows are really sweet if you get to see them in person tho [editline]27th April 2016[/editline] Wow I'm really sorry, I sounded like youtube comments earlier, jesus

Natural Selection does not exist anymore for humans. Bringing up Natural Selection when someone dies makes you look like one of those neckbeards who never shut up about darwinism and how much they hate religion on facebook.

Case and point: most of the people that have died at Disneyland died out of their own stupidity. I don't really care. I don't feel bad for them. They knew they shouldn't have done what they were doing and they killed themselves.
I like "Down with the Sickness", but every other song makes me think
I like Disturbed, hell I even really enjoy their cover of Land of Confusion as a Genesis fan But Down with the Sickness has to be their worst fucking song, how the hell is anyone supposed to listen it when theres some sort of bizarre domestic abuse solo 3/4ths of the way into it

It's an artistic representation with musicality. It's not like he put the real stuff in.
Nobody's asking you to feel sympathetic, all he's saying is that if you see someone die and go "NATURAL SELECTION BRO" you sound fucking stupid
Oh, but some people do expect me to feel bad, which brings me to an unpopular opinion of mine: I hate what has happened to the word "edgy". Edgy meant "cutting-edge", "avant-garde", "pushing the limits", but now it's been obligated to mean try-hard now. It's stupid. If you think someone's a tryhard, call them a tryhard. If you think someone's tryhard and edgy, you call them a tryhard. In no way should a tryhard indicate edginess or edginess indicate a tryhard - tryhards are independent of edginess. If that's not enough, people have confused edginess in general to mean tryhard. Anything remotely dark or edgy now has a negative connotation because the word "edgy" has been taken over, so now they're equated to tryhards. Gothic stuff? It's edgy, therefore tryhard. Vampires? Edgy, therefore tryhard. Fuck people fucking up language.
Disturbed is actually really good and their concerts are fucking fantastic
Draiman sounds really weird though. [editline]28th April 2016[/editline] Like last I saw a live performance by them (Land of Confusion cover) it just sounded crap. Studio version was pretty nice but live it was just eh.
the US military probably has an average IQ of 90 and I could not give less of a fuck about someone's veterancy status my favorites are the ones who boast about "serving their country" by bullying dirt farmers on public payroll, and then go on to moan about big government and taxes the moment they get out. (bonus points if they blow their G.I. bill tuition on a for-profit online college and then drop out) I know a guy who joined the national guard as a fuel truck driver, left early (optional force reductions), never deployed, and has not gone a week since without sharing some army meme shit on facebook.
Natural Selection does not exist anymore for humans. Bringing up Natural Selection when someone dies makes you look like one of those neckbeards who never shut up about darwinism and how much they hate religion on facebook.
I dunno man, seeing someone drink a massive bottle of industrial bleach for "banter" does make me think "Natural Selection" is an involuntary reaction.
We need a good Saving Private Ryan/Come and See-grade sort of violent, gritty movie for the days of sail navies. Master and Commander comes close but it goes for a hard PG-13 rather than a brutal R. There are stories of men using the swivel guns on decks against French marines saying they "disappeared in a cloud of pink smoke"
Losing the debate? Shout edgy, and you silence the opposition which ends the argument allowing you to claim victory!
Natural Selection does not exist anymore for humans.
Literally everything is natural. The difference between man-made or man-influenced and natural is an illusion because of some repressed Sorites complex that humans hold. Everything that ever has been or ever will be is part of nature, so natural selection is inescapable.

That is inexcusable.
You really don't. But like thelurker said, the ps3 version was shit. That is inexcusable.
I had the PS3 version. Hell, I preordered it. My friend borrowed it and never gave it back I don't mind

I'm not arguing for eugenics, but we have saved a ton of people who might have been killed by natural selection if not for our inventions or our morals.
