why would you intentionally buy a PC game on a disc??
Because in some places Comcast wants to revert the internet back to the stone age and institute ridiculously low data caps so downloading big games becomes impossible.

And some places like Australia were already in the stone age
If cigarettes were introduced today they would be banned, they're only legal because they were introduced before health regulations were enforced, and the backing of large tobacco companies.
The recognized age to be an adult should be raised to something more around ~23-25 or so. The fact that kids can die in the armed forces at 18 before their brains are even fully developed to make a mature decision about it is ridiculous.

same goes for motorcycles

I don't like the emphasis that my country puts on going to college. Throughout almost every single year of school since elementary school, all of our teachers have told us to get good grades so that we can go to college and get a nice job, and what it basically tells us is that the only way to be successful is to go to college. I tried college, spent four years trying two different degrees and all I got was a ruined self-esteem and anxiety. I wound up leaving because after all that wasted time I realized that I had no idea what I wanted to do as a career, and had only chosen those previous paths because I needed something to go to college for. In other words, I had chosen degrees to go to college, rather than gone to college because I had chosen a degree. I think I would be in a much better mental and financial state now if I had not gone to college right after high school, and instead taken that time to get a job and a place. Admittedly, I would not have met my current friends and my girlfriend if I hadn't gone to college, I think that's an absolutely silly reason to spend thousands of dollars and spend four years of one's time.
I think the emphasis on going to college winds up wasting a lot of people's time and money, especially when you consider the amount of stoners and lazy people who go to college and sit around smoking pot and not doing work, and winding up in the same place they would have wound up in had they not gone to college afterwards. Except now, they're tens of thousands of dollars in debt.
I don't regret college
I went to a tech school for an associate's, half-assed most of it, left before graduating because I got a job (via a connection with a friend I made there), never bought a single textbook and have only about 10k in debt
it's great if you have low enough standards and know how to squeak through institutions, I guess.
Only 10k
10k is pennies
if your electric bill is higher than your loans in the US you're in ok shape
most 4-year liberal arts degrees can land you anywhere between 40k and 120k in the hole and you probably won't even have a great career to show for it
I really can't see a World War 1 shooter doing all that well. While i'm not a game designer myself, I do know that a lot of it involved trench warfare, which I can't see translating well into gameplay.
Your inability to advance through a hail of bullets would mean that you'll spend most of the game telling your life story through voice chat while hoping that the enemy runs out of bullets before you starve to death.

If your view of WW1 is it literally just being sitting in a trench all day you are a fucking idiot.

Also, now that we all have a good "how not to war" guide I'm fairly certain things will be just a bit different, dontcha think?

Yes in a small area of the western front for a period of roughly 2 years.
Despite there being the:
- Alpine Front
- Balkan Front
- Eastern Front (2 sets basically, the southern part in Ukraine and the northern Baltic/Polish front)
- Central Africa
- Turko-Persian Border/Mesopotamia
- Anatolian Front
- Levant
The fact that it's WW1 is what made me exited for a Battlefield game in a long time.
If I never play another game, ever, where putting red-dot sights on an M4 is touted as a gameplay feature... I can die happy.
Has there been any word on whether or not tanks in multiplayer will require tons of crewmen to man all the guns? because that would be fucking tits

I have no idea how the fuck it'd work otherwise, so I'm optimistic it'll be how it works

Didn't Red Orchestra 2 use crewman powered tanks?
Didn't Red Orchestra 2 use crewman powered tanks?
that game sucked though

oh man I just watched the new battlefield trailer
what a fucking mess. "Hey, you know what would fit perfectly with a world war one theme? a dubstep cover of a White Stripes song and tons of ADD-tier edgy editing." hype train derailed
i was fine with the editing, the music could have been better but eh.
overall my hype is through the roof because my dream game is finally becoming a reality.

But people need to be able to live independently before they're 25.

No it didn't
RO2 had a shitty launch, but matured into a much better game.
RO2 had a shitty launch, but matured into a much better game.
Okay, hear me out. I love Red Orchestra II.
But the launch wasn't "shitty". It was apocalyptically bad
[editline]6th May 2016[/editline]
Remember that the playerbase dropped about 30%~ after one week of release due to the piss-poor optimization and coding issues (some bugs that are hilariously game-breaking still remain).
But I blame Tripwire because they're a god awful company. The crew itself knew what it was doing, but TWI is too quick to press the "release now, make money now" button.
[editline]6th May 2016[/editline]
Want a game that sucks from Tripwire? Killing Floor 2. Now that game is shit

I don't hear any dubstep in the trailer.
I don't hear any dubstep in the trailer.
Anything electronicy with bass = Dubstep, duh
The trailer is a bit eh. But I'm very happy that at least they're doing something we haven't quite seen before.
Also I agree, fuck tripwire, good game developers marred by shitty economics/management. While we're on the topic of battlefield, I have a lot of respect for DICE now for actually returning to BF4 and fixing that mess of a release and turning it into a great game with only a few remaining issues (e.g., there's some dusting still)
People who think [rock] is the apex of music for all eternity and everything else is MaInStREam ShiT need to go back to yelling at kids to get off their lawn and stop bitching at stuff they don't like.

Migos > the Beatles

to be honest I prefer an electronic cover of a white stripes song to generic immediately forgettable orchestral music
I must be one of the few people who is slightly interested in new cod game. I mean I always wanted a starship troopers cod with spaceships and mechs. And I don't really care about mw remaster since I've replayed it so many times to the point where it won't make me go like "ah the memories".
BF1 is something. Aside from the stupid choice for name it's kinda cool they went with WW1 setting. Though I'm a little cautious since DICE just released Battlefront last year and now they're preparing 60$ BF game for this year. I really hope it's not just a reskin with stripped down features.
I am actually really hyped for Battlefield 1, but the name/trailer are pretty terrible.

The Glitch Mob is not dubstep.

I didn't think Vape Nation was that funny. I mean, I had some chuckles here and there but overall I thought it was just okay.
I much prefer h3h3's reaction videos over the more "skit" based videos, for a lack of a better word.
