There actually might be some people that agree with me, but I think restaurants should stop serving so much food per visit. For example, places like Olive Garden have tasty food, but you wind up getting appetizers, soup/salad, breadsticks, and then a big entree that is about the size of an average meal I would make at home. I can never eat all of my food at places like this and wind up taking half of it home with me, and because leftovers never taste as good sometimes I don't eat it or it just gets into the back of the fridge and I forget about it. I think I would enjoy it if we got smaller portions, that way we would be able to keep the variety that most places have and it would lower the cost of the meal because they would use less ingredients.
We're never getting a season 2 are we...
The Witcher 3 is basically a gruff voiced, feared guy from the School of the Wolf solving mysteries based around fables coming to life. I played it after The Wolf Among Us and definitely think it serves as a sort of bizarre pseudo-sequel.
I don't get the appeal of multiple monitors For a brief period of time I had dual monitors but I never found any use for the another, I just forgot it existed.
Having something in full screen on your main monitor and stuff like foobar, Teamspeak, etc. on the secondary one is great.
I don't get the appeal of multiple monitors For a brief period of time I had dual monitors but I never found any use for the another, I just forgot it existed.
I don't think I could go back to a single monitor after a few months of running 2. It's nice to have something like an ongoing chat or progress on an update or something on one monitor and whatever im doing on the other. Also helps for switching in and out of games so I can watch a stream or view a music playlist while playing. And god if you need to do an assignment that requires a few things open a second monitor helps so much. I can have an essay, the requirement sheet, browser open to sources, and Pandora all visible on screen at the same time.
I don't get the appeal of multiple monitors For a brief period of time I had dual monitors but I never found any use for the another, I just forgot it existed.
I use it for side activities, like chats, or getting clutter like gimp's extra windows somewhere out of the way but still usable. Because of the layout of my room I can also turn my second monitor toward my bed if I want to use it as a tv while I lay down. It all depends what you want to do, but there's a million things it's good for that won't be obvious right away. For instance, right now I'm playing an adventure game, Grim Fandango, and using notepad++ on my right window to keep notes on people, places, and events without having to alt tab. The other day I recorded something in fullscreen and used it to see if my recording was going. I know a lot of streamers like to use it for all their side stuff so they can see what fans are saying and check to see if the stream is still good. I don't think anyone can get much use out of more than 3 monitors, though. Even if you were gaming, the black borders segmenting the screens would be too distracting to me.
The Prey reboot looks like a case of "oh shit we need to do something with this property we bought before we lose the rights".
On that note. I'm not mad about the idea of the new Quake beeing this character based shooter. As long as they keep everything else the same, I really don't care.
I think Skyrim gets way too much hate for what it deserves. I think I put about 24 hours into the game and I haven't beaten the main quest yet. It's pretty fun.
I fucking loved Skyrim for a good 3-4 years after it came out. I put so many hours into that game and I had loads of fun despite its shortcomings, and I only stopped playing after I ran out of things to do and moved on to Dark Souls
People shit on Olive Garden, but I've never had a bad meal there.
Skyrim was boring. Not as boring as Oblivion, but still boring. They aren't even necessarily bad, they just do nothing for me.
Dubs are better if done right. Problem is they rarely are.
When i watch an Anime series that's terrible, i watch dubs because then it doesn't matter if it's terrible, because it fits the rest of the series. [sp]I watch dubs even if the anime is good, because i don't give a fuck[/sp] Also, i haven't played more than 30 minutes of any Elder Scrolls game because of my irrational dislike of fantasy in general.
This year's E3 is either super underwhelming or I'm just tired of big games.
This year's E3 is either super underwhelming or I'm just tired of big games.
I don't really judge it by only beths conference though. Beths was underwhelming but I suppose it was warranted
It's hard to keep getting excited for big games when A) The marketing material is most likely nothing like the actual game, B) It will just end in disappointment, or B) It's just a sequel of something else or a reboot.
never forget your ABB's folks
i don't think a WWI game with battlefield's gameplay will be what i'm hoping for out of a WWI game.
i don't think a WWI game with battlefield's gameplay will be what i'm hoping for out of a WWI game.
battlefields gameplay is characterized by large scale battles and destructibility imo, things that are perfect in a WWI game
battlefields gameplay is characterized by large scale battles and destructibility imo, things that are perfect in a WWI game
well, on those aspects, sure, but the battlefield games feel too arcadey, for lack of a better word, for a WWI game. i'm not saying it should be not fun and a drag to play through, but i'd like it if there were more problems than just the enemies and their guns/tools.
Yeah death streaks should give you trench foot.

I won a copy out of the 200+ people that entered.
I think Terrorism is a religion issue. Especially when you look at the number of terrorist attacks by political ideology. It's not an opinion I particularly want to have or feel comfortable having, but it seems to make sense.
