Every melon I've had has definitely had a distinct flavor, it's just a subtle one. Though plenty of them haven't been sweet when they should be at least a bit sweet.
tbh if your melon's flavor is bland, too subtle, or both, they're shitty melons
Even though over the years my taste in music has expanded greatly, I still don't get the popularity of rap music. It sucks balls.

I hate most rap music As a guy who composes music and studies it, I find it unbearable to listen to people ramble on about things in a mostly-monotonous tone, I prefer to have singers sing along to the music with pitches that fit the progression of the song. Rap music that combines the "fast-talking" elements with actual singing I'm okay with.
y'all must be listening to the wrong rap because honestly we are living in the golden age of hip hop right now
y'all must be listening to the wrong rap because honestly we are living in the golden age of hip hop right now
I consider hip hop to be a different type of music. I still don't care for it, but I put it a tick above rap music. The only band I thought was pretty fun to listen to in those categories is The Fat Boys. I don't think you guys are gonna let Beastie Boys or Limp Bizkit count.

i don't like rap [sp]i only really listen to instrumental music and rap is nearly the opposite of that[/sp]
I don't actively listen to rap/hip-hop but I don't hate it like I used to when I was 11/12. There are some songs that I like, but the genre as a whole just doesn't click for me, and I have no idea as to why.
I used to hate Hip-Hop with a passion when I was younger, now it's probably my favorite genre.
While i understand that consoles need exclusives in order to sell, the idea of licensed games joining in on these exclusivity deals makes the situation more depressing than it needs to be.
Beard culture is fucking stupid
Beard culture is fucking stupid
does every characteristic of classifications of people have to be followed by "culture"?
what is beard "culture"?
does every characteristic of classifications of people have to be followed by "culture"?
Culture is also defined as "the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group" So yeah, dudes who come together to compete over their beards or treat their beards as some silly sacred sort of slag is a "culture" of sorts. Beard culture is a big thing in NYC, usually everyone involved looks the same. I am being serious when I say this, because they almost always have the same haircut, same style of beard, and are usually covered in sailor tattoos even though they're most likely trust-fund babies, or hipsters, or both. It may seem stupid, but it is what it is. Same thing with "nerd/gamer" culture, or whatever similar things there are.
I actually thought MGS V was real boring
I think there are actually only two definite genders, which are obviously 'male' and 'female' - I'd honestly call them 'guideline' genders one's definition of their gender is not at all always that binary, however like, even with two definite genders, people can actually be agendered, trans female/male, female/male in 'regular' ways, gender fluids, and et cetera where it may apply
does every characteristic of classifications of people have to be followed by "culture"?
Don't get me wrong, I love beards. I'm talking about the people who make having a beard a vital part of their own personality.
If your entire identity can be reduced down to your fucking facial hair then you're probably a pretty uninteresting person
If your entire identity can be reduced down to your fucking facial hair then you're probably a pretty uninteresting person
Is it a human with beard, or beard with a human at that point.
what is beard "culture"?
it's likening yourself to vikings and victorian era gentlemen at every turn it's t shirts that say "there's a name for men without beards: women" it's when everything you share on facebook are beard related jokes from pages like "the beardly" it's when every other comment about your facial hair is a thinly veiled brag about how annoying it is that it grows so fast or about how everyone always wants to touch your beard like bathtub said, it's making beards a vital part of your personality
I liked Life is Strange
Bane was the only good thing about The Dark Knight Rises.
The entire Nolan trilogy of batman movies is just bland and overdramatic.
I played about 70% through MGS V and then I just couldn't get myself to play it anymore even though I knew I really enjoyed the game I was playing. I think when I realized how big the vision for the game could have been and how the story plays out I just lost a big will to play the game. Especially with Konami's treatment of Kojima during that time
On that subject, I firmly believe that there needs to be more variety in AAA games now, and in the future. It's tiring to see every big game get turned into a sort of FPS with RPG elements, or open world elements. MGSV was really fun at first, because of the open world aspect of it, going around and collecting resources for your base, gathering staff, etc etc. But the repetition immediately reminded me that I was going through the same, repetitive, bland motions as I would in any open-world/sandbox-ish game to come out in the last decade. I know, there are plenty of people that enjoyed MGSV, which is fair, because we all enjoy games in our own way. BUT, I feel that MGSV stepped away from its usual formula and didn't do well in that way, because of, say, how much less restrictive and difficult it was. If you were running into trouble during most missions, you could easily run in any direction away from the AO, the alarms will turn off, and the enemies will go back to their normal routine. Then just head back to the AO and try again, you'd get a lower grade, but you could easily re-do it. Also, at any point in time you could call in ammo and weapons if you were running low, you could call in anything, and you'd get it. I think this took away from a lot of the challenge of the game. Plot wise, it didn't seem too much different from any other game in the series, at least to me. Far Cry Primal looked dull as hell and didn't offer anything new to the series. It just looked like FC4 with a reskin and even more icons cluttering up your screen. Oh, also, the newest God of War that was revealed looked like it's stepping away from the button-mashing gore fest that the series always has been. I haven't played any of them, but it seems like it's going in the worst direction it could go in. Although, we'll really just have to wait and see how it turns out.
I'm really tired of open world games in general. I actually feel overwhelmed by the amount of shit I have to keep track of. Sometimes I just want a linear single player experience where I don't have to worry about skipping a side quest or whatever.
