Yeah the bloom in Attila is unbelievably bad
Where have you observed this? Of course there will always be some people, but you are aware that the biggest challenge of getting into Oxbridge isn't grades, but actually the interview, which you can't use rote learning and last minute revision for realistically, especially in humanities.
I study at Oxford. Perhaps half is an exaggeration but there are a lot more unintelligent people in Oxbridge than you may think; maybe the situation is different in the humanities (I study a science subject). Either the bar for entry is set too low or people somehow make it through the interviews only to stop using their brains after. I've heard that of the 5 people accepted for my year in my college, I was the only clear-cut candidate, the other 4 being borderline cases, so I'm inclined to think it's the former reason.
pokemon go kinda sucks
I actually think puce is a nice color
I don't, never did, and probably never will understand the fear of GMO food.
I don't, never did, and probably never will understand the fear of GMO food.
It's just another wave of people thinking that the past things are better than the present, who don't understand how the present works
Motion blur can eat a dick as well.
Depth of field can fuck itself with a rake too. My eyes actually work, thank you. Depth of field just causes me eyestrain as my eyes snap back and forth trying to focus. Besides that it looks like shit. [editline]8th July 2016[/editline]
I kinda like motion blur. :(
I really, really wish more games gave you options for the amount of it. It's so over done in most games to obscure shitty animations, and it's just awful looking.
I don't, never did, and probably never will understand the fear of GMO food.
Apparently there are studies (some are possibly questionable, I haven't done too much research because I don't care) that link certain types of GMO foods to higher risks for cancer/birth defects, and that combined with the idea that "natural is better" mindset leads to this, from what I can tell. Honestly, I'm fine with people lobbying for forcing food companies to add a GMO label to their food if they use those products. It's perfectly okay with me for people to want to know exactly what's in the food they buy, and while I don't think that most GMO foods are actually dangerous, I think it's super fucking shady that some food companies are pouring millions of dollars into lobbying against this idea. Basically, I don't really think GMO foods are dangerous or malicious, but I understand people preferring not to ingest them. As far as I'm concerned, it's a basic human right to be able to control what you put in your own body. In other news, I think that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 both look way better than battlefield 4. BF4 relies too much on fancy post processing and particle effects, but the game itself has this really weird thing where there's so much visual noise in the environment that it makes it very difficult if not impossible in some situations to see what's happening. All of the colors and shapes just kind of melt together. I understand that it's partially because the character models and tanks and things use camoflage which is literally designed to do this, but it's really annoying from a gameplay standpoint, and if I really wanted something like that, I would play a milsim like ARMA. And from a gameplay standpoint, I kind of enjoy BFBC2 and BF3 better than BF4. The weapons felt really nice and punchy, the animations were stylish, the balancing was a little iffy in places but nothing was really too bad. BF3 got rid of the stylishness, but that's mostly because that was Bad Company's thing. Weapons still felt really nice and punchy, the sound design was on point, the graphics were nice even on lower quality settings, and movement felt snappy and nice. For some reason, a lot of this changes in BF4. Movement and shooting both feel really, really floaty and weird in a lot of cases, the sound design feels weird to me, but I can't really pinpoint what I don't like about it, and it feels like they went for quantity over quality when making weapons and things to use. A lot of the weapons are just extremely similar, and because you get so many rewards in short periods of time it kinda takes away from the experience.
the problem with labelling GM foods is that it's highly arbitrary and pretty much everything contains GM ingredients these days so it would unfairly target certain foods (or those by certain manufacturers).
The wide variety of GMOs on the market now makes a GMO label even more meaningless. You could argue that the label has to specify which ingredient comes from a GMO, as well as what type of GMO this is, but the average consumer simply doesn't have the knowledge to make use of this information.
Depth of field can fuck itself with a rake too.
I'm 90% sure depth of field only exists for marketing purposes. It makes screenshots look much better.
Steven Seagal can kick Van Damme's butt in a second
I'm 90% sure depth of field only exists for marketing purposes. Depth of field is great for cinematic purposes, but until real-time eye tracking becomes commonplace so the depth of field can focus on what you're actually looking at on the screen, it will never not be obnoxious in gameplay.
Unreal Tournament 2004 had everything right, the games after that are mediocre. They should have just kept what they had in 2004 and continued from there, rather than painfully watering everything down.
I don't see the fun in the Pokemon games.
Motion blur can eat a dick as well.
Motion blur is only accceptable in racing games imo, motion blur in an FPS is unbearable
I don't see the fun in the Pokemon games.
did someone hurt you as a child?
I don't see the fun in the Pokemon games.
The only Pokemon game I really enjoyed was Pokemon Snap. The battle system in the regular games don't appeal to me at all.
-slight repost from other thread- Summer is my least favourite holiday.
If your using a HDTV to play old video games its better to run an emulated version than continue to use the original hardware unless any emulation cannot boot or accurately emulate the game.
i think most of the muslims in the us tend to be more extreme and should be monitored
The Muslims in the US are more moderate than the chatolics.
The Muslims in the US are more moderate than the chatolics.
I mean if you're going on that poll about various religion's opinions on homosexuality then that's just a fact if you base "moderate" off of those things.
did someone hurt you as a child?
They were fun back then but man if you try playing them nowadays they're fucking garbage, even new games of the main series, spinoffs are fine. Really terrible pace and no challenge at all. Competitive stuff is fun, but it's such a pain in the ass that you may as well just cheat to build up your team while keeping the numbers realistic.
I mean if you're going on that poll about various religion's opinions on homosexuality then that's just a fact if you base "moderate" off of those things.
Well who are the US muslims more extreme than? In what way?
I never liked the "bloom" graphics effect, I've always and still do turn it off.

Motion blur can eat a dick as well.

Depth of field can fuck itself with a rake too. Then you get the mods that shove all of these things mixed with high res textures on low poly stuff and terrible shaders.
Steven Seagal can kick Van Damme's butt in a second
Considering that Seagal shows up to his own movies so little that they have to film anything that isn't his face with a body double and dub half of his lines with someone else because he's so lazy, i think Van Damme wins by default.
serving in the military is good for you.
I don't see the fun in the Pokemon games.
I really only enjoy the non-traditional games. (Snap, GO, etc) I always found the regular games uninteresting and shallow.
Whenever Pokemon is brought up I have to legitimately wonder how I found it so entertaining. The traditional games are so repetitive.
did someone hurt you as a child?
No, I just don't see the fun in playing the game, it's more repetitive than call of duty. All of them are basically the same. You start, train, go to gyms, fight bosses to become the best and to catch them all and done. Literally no deeper story whatsoever.
