Well who are the US muslims more extreme than?
In what way?
Religion encompasses more beliefs than just that. Attitudes on women, gambling, abortion, etc.. So I was just saying that you probably should have said in what way. Also I looked up the poll I was referring to and actually it says the opposite:

MechaFourth and The Winglet are the only SFM users to use TF2 characters creatively. Everyone else are either doing the same parodies over and over with them or replicating movie scenes. When are we gonna see good SFM videos with no TF2 characters?

The sanity meter in Amnesia: The Dark Descent was fantastic. I wish the second Amnesia game and SOMA had it.

It's been a year, anyone who wants to play it should have already. What are you talking about some people don't make enough to buy every game they're interested in or don't have time? Not my problem! [sp]Sarcasm just to be clear.[/sp]

while I don't support discrimination/stuff like that, people should be allowed to have their own bigoted opinions as long as they don't actually act on them
People should be allowed to be nazi/kkk or any other form of retardation but if you are open about your bigoted ideas, expect them to be challenged.

Is that really unpopular? At least in America (mentioned kkk) it's pretty popular to say "well, they have the right to have those ideas."
The idea that the cause of so much poverty in the world is neoliberal economics, when in reality the problem is that there isn't enough neoliberalism.
Neoliberalism by definition is the reduction of the state in economics and the promotion of free trade, but if you look at most of the economies of developed states there is a trend towards more state control and more regulation and the limitation of free trade.
The reality is that the governments of developed states put up barriers to free trade in order to protect their economies from external competition, for example the US still subsidises it's agriculture and automotive industry, whilst putting tariffs on the importation of these products from abroad. These tariffs and subsidies are one of the barriers preventing states from developing.
All of the evidence suggests that the reduction of tariffs and state subsidies for industry does wonders for raising living standards in the developing world.
Therefore what is called Free Trade by almost everyone is not Free Trade, it's Mercantilism in order to promote the economic and political interests of the state at the expense of it's international competitors.
Critics of Neoliberalism also cite the role of big business in influencing the economic and foreign policy of developed states. The reality is that because the state still has so much control over the economy, big business wants to lobby government to get policy made in their favour. If any government were to truly adopt neoliberal policies then big business wouldn't lobby government because government wouldn't have to power to make economic policy or regulation in the first place. It is the influence of big business in government which prevents genuine free trade, because they don't want to have to compete with foreign businesses.
All of this means that what pretty much everyone calls neoliberalism is in practice, the literal opposite of neoliberalism.
This is essentially a slimmed down version of a University assignment I did last year. But after reading all the misinformation in the Sensationalist Headlines section, I felt compelled to post this here.
I kinda feel like indie games are too valued, just as a whole. A lot of the time I'm playing a super unpolished game that seems to be in early access for forever, or a really small budgeted game that tries way too hard to be 'artistic' to make up for drab gameplay.
Only saying this because I'm impressed by a couple really great indie games that came out this year, took me by surprise.
The office of POTUS in the United States is slowly becoming a symbolic/powerless position and the office of Vice President will likely overtake it in terms of power.
Could you explain?
Presidency is becoming increasingly constrained by the steady growth of the Federal bureaucracy which he has little control over. Much of the federal government itself exists because of laws which the president finds difficult to change or work around too.
After Nixon, a lot of transparency rules and agencies began appearing to keep a close eye on the POTUS, plus the federal budget is being increasing set aside to mandatory programs you can't back out of spending money on and in recent years public trust in the US government has gotten much weaker and people don't hold much faith in the Presidency anymore.
The Vice President meanwhile doesn't actually have much said about what he can or can't do, which means a particularly strong VP (like Dick Cheney) can actually make policy decisions by themselves. I see this process as likely to continue.

I'm assuming that your native language isn't English, judging by your flagdog, but you should still try to actually speak English when on an English speaking forum like this. :v:
Scandinavian posters are either really nice or awful shitposters, I haven't seen many normal ones.

norwegian posters are the worst. They often invade our thread in the general discussion forum and stir up shit. With their jeg jeg bleg writings they manipulate and destroy.
People who say stuff like "HEY! DON'T USE THAT AS AN INSULT!" whenever someone says "gay" are as annoying and bad as the homophobic bigots they're against.

Using something as an insult is insinuating that it's a bad thing. E.g. you call someone an idiot because idiot is a bad thing to be. Likewise, that's the message that gets across when you non-ironically use gay as an insult.

So not really.
