I'm no conspiracy nut but I think a good deal of recent political issues were influenced by third parties. Like if someone really looked at who owns what, and whose funding what, they would definitely find some weird connections.

Fireworks should be illegal outside of organized events where they are handled by trained individuals. I don't know how many times I've been hit by fireworks or someone deliberately shot one or several at me. I remember one New Year's Eve, I was picking up pizzas and on my way there a group of kids were playing with fireworks, shooting them off and shot some in to the street. I ignored them and kept on walking down the sidewalk. A few moments later a huge firework flies by my face, I mean it was within 4-5"/10cm from my face, eye level. If I had left a few seconds earlier or walked a little bit faster I would probably be blind in one eye and disfigured for life. Not to mention all the people who seriously injur or kill themselves playing with fireworks. It's always sad waking up on New Year's Day and reading about some 14 year old kid who killed himself playing around with fireworks he bought illegaly or stole. Fuck fireworks and fuck people who play around with them.

I automatically oppose anything that incentivizes more people to walk around in public with their phones in front of their stupid faces it's nice that people are getting out and seeing landmarks and whatever but if they didn't fill most of their waking life with vapid distractions they probably would've seen them anyway

That just sounds like people acting how they have normally for the past 5+ years. Riding you bike and using your phone is pretty stupid, but I doubt that guy was the cleverest out there before Pokemon Go.

I truly believe that it is important to be immersed in your surroundings and present in the moment.
