wow I had no idea the parasyte OP was sung in english until I heard this cover for it (which is pretty great)
ye Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas loves their engrish in fact they did a engrish version of Just Awake
It's a harem series, but I'd say its pretty great. It pokes fun at a lot of tropes, and the writing is pretty funny for what I thought was just going to be another seasonal harem. [editline]27th March 2015[/editline] Saekano ep 12 was pretty great tho [sp]Michiru in a maid outfit was adorable af- definitely best girl material, and that sorario days cover in the middle was totally unexpected, but amazing[/sp] [editline]27th March 2015[/editline] I'm actually curious though, how does saekano get away with using all these things from other shows (figures, posters, manga/ln covers, and now [sp]a song[/sp] without getting into trouble?
Probably the same way DRRR did, which is likely either paying fees, or being considered "advertising" by the IP's owner.
I don't know what everybody else in the thread has been doing, but I've always used shounen to describe the demographic, the shounen you're referring to is "shounen action" I've also seen other people in this thread get corrected for using them like you have just now before, this isn't new.
I've never seen anyone using shounen (in criticism) as just "it's for boys" in this thread. When people have been corrected on using shounen or shoujo wrongly it's been when they've just been talking about the demographic, not using it as a term explaining the actual contents of the show. And just to clarify again, yeah, Yona is a shoujo show (demographic), but it sure is shounen (contents).
Today on Fast Anime: dgg makes a mistake and refuses to acknowledge it and will argue for ten pages to insist that he was right man we really need to come up with new material
Today on Fast Anime: dgg makes a mistake and refuses to acknowledge it and will argue for ten pages to insist that he was right man we really need to come up with new material
I'm not sure how I'm not acknowledging it when the first fucking response was yeah it's shoujo. I've not denied my mistake at all, I'm just clarifying what I meant.
It may be shoujo, but...
What happened to the OPM manga? Expected release said 5th of March but we're way past that now
I think you're vastly overexaggerating how much of an issue the flashing back/recapping was. It vastly slowed down/stopped in the second half and it was brief to begin with in. The show was really intent on reminding us that Yona wanted to fuck her cousin in that first stretch of episodes for some reason. There really wasn't much in the way of standard shounen tropes either. I really don't want to get into an argument over how shounen a shoujo show is though so I'm leaving it at that. i liked it you didn't there can never be peace

But that's half of the show having it almost every fucking episode. It never stopped having Yona talk to [sp]her deceased father[/sp] "I'm sorry" this "I'm sorry" that. All the fucking time he or Su-won would be remembered and it would basically be the same fucking things being said in a slightly different way. Yona constantly talking about herself and her own weakness, wondering if she's gotten stronger [sp]even after risking her fucking life gathering herbs from a cliff and shooting Yang Geum-ji with a bow after surviving the whole boat incident[/sp]. The serious talk- OH LOL COMEDY TALK WE SO FUNNY NOW AFTER THIS SERIOUS THING THAT WAS TOO SERIOUS TO CONTINUE ON BECAUSE THEN WE WOULD SEEM LIKE WE TRIED TO BE A SERIOUS SHOW. Upon reflection yesterday I can agree that it's probably more "goddamn anime" than "shounen" that I was really criticizing, and I also realized that the main difference between shounen and shoujo would probably be that shounen is more about the people against evil, whilst shoujo is more about the relationship between people.

oh god I just saw a flyer for a maid cafe posted on the wall oh god
shirobako finale HYPE
oh god I just saw a flyer for a maid cafe posted on the wall oh god
What are you waiting for? Apply for a job as a qt maid trap
oh god I just saw a flyer for a maid cafe posted on the wall oh god
Go and tell us how it was.
Shirobako's finale was great. I don't see where any of the "quality issues" were that they said it would have. Also, [sp]funnystory-kun was the photographer for the event! Love the fact that he got canned, fuck that guy.[/sp]
0:12, there you go Hakita.
Have there been any recent anime that have gone back to the more "realistic" art styles of older anime like GTO? Even if it's just an OVA or something. I always just assumed that no one ever did it anymore due to higher detail probably being more expensive to animate but some anime are really putting in a lot of quality in other departments.
0:12, there you go Hakita.
Where'd delinquent-chan's beauty mark go, 0/10 dropped worst adaptation ever.
Shirobako 10/10 Over the last six months it has been a weekly dose of fucking perfection. Honestly not a single episode was disappointing. I would say I'm gonna miss but it sold like crack and you'd have be to insane not to make a second season. Staying up until 4am waiting for this was a good choice. Thank you based Tsutomu Mizushima.
Probably the same way DRRR did, which is likely either paying fees, or being considered "advertising" by the IP's owner.
I thought DRRR was just owned by the parent group that owned all the other small IPs That's how dengeki bunko fighting climax became a thing, right?
yoru no yatterman 10 - [sp]I was wondering where Dokurobei was the whole time, he was only really in the first ep[/sp]
Ladies and Gentlemen, I have fucked up. A friend has been recommending me Tokyo Ghoul for quite some time, and I finally got around to watching it on a random flavorful streaming site. Now bear in mind this site did not specify that anything about a season, merely...✓A, which I assumed was some fancy title. Yeah. Needless to say S1 is quite ruined for me. I found S2 to be very exciting however, which is nice. But I suppose I missed on quite the exposition for many a character, most importantly being Kaneki. boxes appreciated, for today, I am a dumbass.
Imagine doing any kind of research.
that fucking [sp]hol horse[/sp] and boingo ed
Kancolle getting a second season lol http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-03-25/kancolle-television-anime-gets-sequel/.86362
TBH i knew there was gonna be a S2 before the credits were even over, the implications they made during that final episode were too obvious. Its an average 6/10 anime, im just hoping S2 will be more sinking and less shipping.
Imagine doing any kind of research.
I don't research my anime like I do computer parts. I just kind of hop in, although I'm starting to get to know people, to whom I may direct some pertinent questions.
All you gotta do is check mal it's not a research project
I don't research my anime like I do computer parts. I just kind of hop in, although I'm starting to get to know people, to whom I may direct some pertinent questions.
Google is pretty good at answering your questions too. Looking up an anime on MAL for like 2 minutes would give you plenty of good info, and should hardly be considered research.
My bad. I'll start doing some simple stuff beforehand, but under your guys' promise that nothing will be spoiled. I tried to look up a small bit of Steins;Gate, and was absolutely devastated when some dumbass site spoiled that [sp]Mayushi dies eventually (albeit not at the very end).[/sp]
So the HorribleSubs 720p release of G no Reconguista just stops at 16 minutes and 42 seconds in lol
