I watched the first episode, it's as bad as people are saying, and I just can't tolerate seeing run animations with four frames each cycle or mouths that never close and just twitch because the talking animations are skipped entirely.
That project is motion interpolation, all it does is make awkward artificial inbetweens that don't look very good and don't solve the issue at all. Even if they boost the frames there's still less than half as many as they need.

I think animating 3DCG frame-by-frame at the same framerate you'd animate 2D at is a pretty good style choice for anime CG tbh
It will never be released in a different framerate because it was animated on twos and threes

It doesn't work like that in 3d at all. It just looks choppy at best.
Worse, they're animating at the framerate of an extremely low budget show.

I'm glad I don't collect Figuarts or Robot Spirits/Damashii because they put out loads and loads of figures through their web store in extremely limited runs, meaning you get fucked severely by middlemen gouging you if you're a gaijin who wants them.
I'd say that I've never seen the appeal of statues, but then again I've never seen the appeal of character figures or character merch in general.
tbh its pretty common for resellers to price popular stuff at really high prices. Some full figures go for $150+
