I went into it because it was randomly put on to watch one night knowing nothing and expecting nothing and I cam away extremely impressed. I'd say definitely watch it and decide for yourself.

you guys remember how at the start of the show they allocated enough budget for about 20 seconds worth of animations to show the kids riding scooters through the sewers to the factory
and then they had to find a way to mix and match the parts of that scene to make it look different for every episode for 4 whole seasons

I love life because of anime. It offers me an escape. Sounds weird and thats your opinion, but I would not be the person I am today without my hardcore ecchi full of fanservice and loads of PLOT anime, with the occasional 9/10 anime in between.
