The dub is the dub version(comedy), the sub is the real version but the script is horrible. Most subbers have changed the captioning, but I don't know why you would watch the sub over the dub when it is done so well.
It basically sold so poorly in japan that the voice actors were given free reign on the script.

I made a few posts about it a couple years ago, it's really great and it has a golden treasure trove of detailed expressions that characters made (mc in particular). Sometimes I wish they did s2 since the manga is apparently way ahead but oh well, some things can't be helped. 39 eps of pure goodness.

Not really. It's a progressive story in terms of time, but there is no information necessary to understand anything.
They make food, draw, talk and mock around. Not much to follow up on.

S2 starts with a flashback and then skips around in time for 11 episodes, you won't even feel it. Not that it matters anyway, it's a god damn SoL show with cute girls doing cute things, nothing ever happens.

Gunsmith cats is pretty cool, only watched one episode so far.

I was thoroughly disappointed Euphonium didn't do that grand lead-up before the OP but in the end was the best episode yet, absolutely beautiful.

yeah that's on my list.
I'm kinda disappointed in myself for not being able to name too many OVAs that aren't sci-fi or mecha but I don't really watch too many since most of them are really short or partial adaptations and I prefer to not to get invested in something really short or not fully adapted.
Already told Rahkshi but Zeiram The Animation's a pretty cool OVA.

Kind of getting tired of him honestly. Not him specifically, but how a lot of his roles are more or less the same.
Same with Matsuoka Yoshitsugu on some days, but at least some of his roles tend to vary.
Not Kaji Yuuki though. He's like the voice industry sweetheart (well, I would say Sugita as well, but Sugita gives off a bad boy vibe)
Every time I think that Kekkai Sensen's position as AOTS is locked in, Euphonium gives us an episode like THAT. I already feel bad for referring to the show as K-on with trumpets when it's more like CLANNAD meets Kids on the Slope. Not surprising when it shares the same director as CLANNAD.
The second half of the latest episode of Hibike looks gorgeous. I even rewatched some of the scenes a couple of times, just to appreciate the visuals; which is something I've never done before.
These yuri undertones in my brass instrument shows are getting out of hand
