Damnit I just finished Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ only to discover that its source material is a VN. I mean it wasn't bad (season 1 finale sucks balls though) but I vastly prefer VN's generally. I did like what they did with the ending though.
Overall its a pretty decent anime although it never truly hooked me in. However if you want a decent action show while eating brunch and you have already watched the top tier animes then its alright.

Apparently the only english language release of the vn is in a literal dvd menu format though

That's some pretty high praise for UFO that I'm surprised by. The character designs and art style are nice and all but the animation and art quality doesn't really blow me away and while the backgrounds are very well drawn the photorealism doesn't really wow me.
I suppose I prefer more stylised anime, or at least more interesting environments than generic Japanese city and stock anime locations.

I am not fond of Romance anime, or any Romance in media (movies, music, shows, etc) but fuck Mikakunin de Shinkoukei was really damn good, it wasn't purely Romance, it was 50 comedy (Slice of Life) and 50 Romance. And it didn't make me cringe once which is a first.
Also it's adorable as hell.

Neither, basically it's an Arranged Marriage anime where the two MC characters don't know each other. [sp]But they actually do from their childhood but the main character had an accident which made her lose her memory of most of her childhood.[/sp]

it's a slice of life 4koma anime with a slight bit more romance then a normal pure comedy 4koma, but that's it.

I like Mikakunin, it's a humorous, fun show with cute girls doing cute things. Hoping for S2.
