So... Hot blooded protagonists? They are pretty hot blooded... or are we talking shows that have someone doing what they love and that's it? They are pretty passionate in Bakuman. Also in Hataraki Man. A lot of the serious "this is my job" shows the MC's tend to be passionate.

The MC in BECK is occasionally pretty hot-blooded, but I mean passion as in someone finding out what they wanna do. Like in BECK, he's some loner nothing of a kid who has his life changed by discovering music. Ippo is the same way woth boxing and Takumi with racing. They didn't know what they wanted to do in life and suddenly it hits them in the face.
I guess I like it because I can sorta relate. I went to college for two years to do programming because I didn't know what I wanted to do in life until I found out how much I like Multimedia Production.

I honestly don't understand why they removed the system that stopped shows from having their score determined before it finished airing.
They could put like a threshold that anything above 52 episodes (that have aired) will have it's score determined, but why every damn show?

There's actually a two episode OVA adaption of the first few chapter made by Gainax, produced by Anno ironically.
New Ito Kanako album came out today, it is pretty good, though I feel like it is one of her weaker albums in terms of variety.
Also I love how cdJapan ships stuff so you get it on release date.
I finally got around to finishing Cross Ange.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'm going to miss Ange. Being such a shitty person makes her a refreshing protagonist.
Also, I think I may have been too hard on Code Geass. These types of shows aren't meant to be taken seriously. They're supposed to be stupid.
