I think the problem is that I started reading Nex-... [I]My Neighbor[/I] Seki before it got an official translation, and the fan translators called it that.

I'd much rather enjoy to strap myself to a chair and be forced to watch Seikon no Qwaser ._.

Enjoying the show so far, up to ~ep10. There's lots of talking, but after Bakemonogatari, it's very digestible.
Its a decent show if you find the setting interesting. For me the characters/humor were a bit stale but I still quite liked it for the story/background.
