that arc with the kids was undoubtedly the lowest part of the season though
It would have been so much better if they made the other continent have it's own arc over the scrub squad or the maiden arcs.

I don't understand how anybody could dislike Scrub Horizon.
Season 2's pacing didn't bother me, I just wish it hadn't gotten to the point where it introduced all of the new interesting stuff and set everything up and then ran out of content, and that's not really the fault of the writers for the show or the LN.
Clearly it'll all be fixed in ten years when Log Horizon Brotherhood is made and cuts the raid arc and Akatsuki's arc down to half an episode.

If I remember correctly, the LNs straight up run out of content at the other continent episode. I'm fairly sure that most of the episodes after that are original, with the involvement of the author. Or they shuffled some things around in addition. Something like that.
I found the second season of Log Horizon boring because it threw away almost all the interesting arcs (especially those economics-related) and focused on meaningless stuff, including that long-ass monologue.
Well, I just finished Love Lab.
It was quite a nice comedy SoL. Really pleasant.
However, there's a slight problem.

I think i checked when it finished airing and if i remember correctly vast amounts where untranslated.
I was hesitant to start watching Texhnolyze before but this guy gives a pretty good sales pitch.

It's genuinely horrible.
The art is shit, the animation is bad, the background art is indecipherable in many cases (a classic trait also seen in Serial Experiments Lain). The pacing is slow, the story is just thrown at you nonchalantly like nobody cares in whatever way suits them and it tells a tale of nothingness. "shit happens, and then this happened, and then they walked and talked and then something something and whatever, it looks artsy right?"
It's down there with Rozen Maiden, Sekirei, Seiken no Blacksmith and all those horrible shows.

If season 1 was an eight, Log Horizon 2 was a seven. Attempting to rate Log Horizon season 2 with all of the factors of what it was adapting being taken into consideration makes it tricky.

I'm still unable to comprehend that. Why would you willingly skip arcs with Rudy, the best character and to a lesser extent, Isuzu?
