Let's get some numerical analysis..on a scale of Psycho Pass Season 2 to a 10, how it (LH S2)?
Also is the scrubsquad arc skippable? I already don't like the kids..but will suffer through it if necessary.
Do not skip scrub horizon, Rudy is the greatest character and he deserves as much screen time as possible.
Rudy is legitimately the strongest character, (massive log horizon s1 spoilers yo) [sp]reaching level 23 solo while being one of the people of the land, who level at 1/4 the rate of adventurers and die for real. he reached this level without dying and putting in way more work that anyone else[/sp] Rudy is a badass
Maybe we should rather talk about how Komachi is bestgirl in Yahari?

[sp]"without dying"[/sp]
But tbh from another perspective Rudy could as well been a great MC.
This is directly linking to the discussion how theres no anime where a weak protagonist fights his way through hard work.

but hiratsuka-sensei is bestgirl
but hiratsuka-sensei is bestgirl
It was a tough decision yes. Hiratsuka is not getting enough screen time sadly to win this fight.

Althou in episode 8 she was great.

my point with that part of the spoiler is that (still LogH spoilers)[sp] leveling in an mmo is not hard when you can't die permanently, Rudy had to do the same as everyone else for far longer, while actually risking his life.[/sp]
Rudy spinoff when
We can also talk about how wonderful Sayo is.

More like Love Lab s2 when?

Also i only now realized how in Yahari these stickers indicate the episode number.
Bottom row was for season 1 and upper for season 2.

There is space for a lot more, but i don't think we will get s3.

It's going to end this season, I think the LN's will only amount to twelve volumes and as of yesterday we're at volume 10.
Let's all make dgg jokes as if they weren't offensive insults that just clog up the thread unnecessarily and creates a self-fulfilling prophecy :)
You shouldn't watch Texhnolyze with your brain shut off like you would an SoL or something
I wasn't, it was just a boring uninteresting story that did nothing special at all. You liked the thematics brought up, I thought they were hardly present nor executed well.
Just like you there are already years since I watched, and I didn't like it so obviously I'm not sitting with a heap of arguments for the messaging, but listening to that video sales pitch of the show all I can say about what he says the show portrays, is that it does it incredibly poorly and in an uninteresting fashion.
Every show has a message, the story is supposed to portray that message in a way that sucks the viewer in and makes them interest in what's going on and why and what it represents.
Texhnolyze didn't do that shit at all to me. You're making assumptions about how I watched it that aren't true. Just because you liked it because it delved into those themes doesn't mean I automatically didn't understand those themes because I disliked it.
I really wish I had the time to read them all before the season ends but christ they're really sort of long and because of the constant quirks with the translators you really have to pay attention to know whats happening.
I keep spending entire days watching reviews and finding good shows to watch shit instead of actually watching shows.
Why must I be such a baka.

You would save time if you checked OP of this thread and if you did that then ask us.

Better than shitposting on /a/ and /m/ all day like I do.

I want to see a slice of life that's just about people doing dayjobs.
So begins the most sad, soul crushing anime ever.
You would save time if you checked OP of this thread and if you did that then ask us.
I like being sorta independent and not asking questions that I can answer without bothering others. I generally watch reviews at X2 speed so the process is relatively fast. OP mostly offers suggestions and not perse reviews. Besides just because you fellas/OP agree/label something doesn't mean I think that way. For example no game no life is listed as competitive. It supposedly has a scene were a chessmatch is resolved through the power of friendship.
Besides asking means typing and I still suck at that. Recently I had to write two emails with a total of 250 words. My arms/hands still hurt the day after. In fact my hands are starting to hurt just from writing this message.

It was a mistake.
Have any of you seen this?

It's giving me some mad Psycho Pass vibes.
It was a mistake.
No Game No life isn't competitive at all. The rules are non-existent and the "rules" of how the games work are made up on the spot and have zero consistency or sense to them to the point where they're barely games. There's also nothing competitive because Blank always wins. There is no tension or even pretending that they have the slightest chance of losing anything because the stakes are so insanely high that they can't lose anyway.
Imagine if you had a basketball series where the MC said "if the opposing team gets a single point i'm going to shoot yourself". You've sort of written yourself into a fucking corner with that.
Contrast to the best example of the competitive genre outside of sports anime, Kaiji, where the threat of him losing and getting absolutely fucked with lasting damage is very real at any given moment and the games are built on exploitation and manipulation of extremely simple rules. That and cheating harder than your opponent.

That's why I'm saying it was a mistake. Putting NGNL there was a mistake.

To be fair Akagi always wins as well and it's still tense as fuck, it's the matter of writing.

Akagi plays Mahjong.
Now, I was about to say that Mahjong is a game with defined rules and outcomes and thus is an inherently incompatible comparison, but I'm pretty sure that Mahjong is a nonsensical game with the rules made up on the spot so it's a good comparison.

That was awfully rude, but try however you want, you can't silence my love.
I'm watching Log Horizon's dub and I'm waiting on the second season, what I've been reading here has me worried.
dub
Is Nyanta consistently as hilarious as he was in his introductory scene?
Dog Days has nice animation sometimes. Just saying.
Glad i picked up it this AFTER season 3 ended so i could marathon through all 3 seasons.
(My marathon has lasted a couple of months already, because there was so much to watch recently)
>dub

Yeah, I was getting annoyed at always having to rewind to read what I missed or to see what the scene looked like.
I also don't know what they were thinking when they chose the voice actor for Nyanta, but if I was drinking anything when I first heard him I'd have spit my drink all over my computer.
Aaaaagh, why can't Jojo pull a UBW and have full-hour episodes?
dio looks like a bootleg figurine

toko wo tomorei
I sincerely wish I could wipe everyone's memories (including myself) about how The World works so that we'd be able to indulge in wild random speculah about what its power is.
New episode of Nisekoi was kinda unexpected.
And it's definitely better than what Nisekoi usually is like.
EDIT:
Seriously episode 8 of Nisekoi s2 is amazing.

don't be, it's noticeably worse but it isn't bad in any stretch of the imagination.
