A new Cyborg 009 anime is being directed by the mazinkaiser SKL and new getter robo guy
I watched Tokyo Mew Mew and immediately afterwords Azumanga Daioh. I have no self-respect when it comes to these things. My only defense is that this was 8-9 years ago.
Lesbian Bear Storm ended the way it began, confusingly and disorientingly. [sp]Kureha became a bear, so basically everyone was bears. Then they got shot, maybe, you don't know for sure. Then some twintailed chick find a cyborg they made of a dead bear and starts the cycle of lezbear love all over again. Oh well, I guess that's the sexy way to do things. Shaba-da-doo.[/sp]
I guess you're new to Ikuhara then. [sp]Both of his previous works, Revolutionary Girl Utena and Mawaru Penguindrum, both end by having their characters transcend the world (or rather, prison) they inhabit and it's no surprise that Yuri Kuma ends the same way; especially since they foreshadow it from episode 1. For Yuri Kuma, in order to cross the Border of Severance, Kureha and Ginko need to destroy their reflections. Kureha (to her defense, was only 6 or something at the time) isn't able to do this when she wishes Ginko to become human. It is only when she wishes to Kumaria to be a bear that she can break her self-image; like Ginko had done years prior when she wished to become human. The scene at the end shows another girl breaking free of the Invisible Storm, a sign of hope that the system can shift and that maybe passive homophobia will go away from Japanese culture.[/sp] [sp]On another note, I have a feeling that Yuri Kuma has the highest body count of this season (named characters, flashbacks included)[/sp]

I wish DRRRx2 had a better animation budget. The fight scenes are okay, but a lot of the other stuff screams "quality." It's a shame because the show's characters are fun and interesting while it maintains a fairly unique method of storytelling. Apparently they've already confirmed that the BDs will be better, but it's still very disappointing.
Was Garo the Animation worth picking up?
Was Garo the Animation worth picking up?
Yeah. The first half ranges from okay to weak with some very strong highlights, and the second half is consistently really good.
Finished Yowamushi Pedal - Grande Road, though. It was ok.
I'm currently at episode 16 and so far I'm glad that it has the same quality as the first season. Of course I'm having tons of fun watching it, but it's just my weakness for sports anime.
Ooooh I didn't know the Souma and Yamada anime are going to air next season. Anyways I've realized how much time I have wasted these past few days watching Ace of Diamond. I could've finished a bunch of shows with the amount of episodes I've punched through and the second season is starting soon . FUCK SPORTS ANIME
Finished Yowamushi Pedal - Grande Road, though. It was ok.
I felt like it dragged out quite a lot in the second season. The amount of flashbacks and backstory for characters I didn't care about was pretty ridiculous.
I have only watched one anime, Hellsing OVA. Didn't get to finish either cause Starz stopped showing it, but by god, if anime is anything like what I saw there...it must be good

Noragami was an alright show. There weren't any outstandingly great episodes, it was just consistently not-disappointing. e: and yes, music v v
Noragami was good and I'm glad it's getting a second season so that I can hear more of that funky soundtrack. [editline]31st March 2015[/editline] +hiroshi kamiya
I felt like it dragged out quite a lot in the second season. damn the jojo game on arcade is fun as heck. Actually feels like a real fighting game but with the added benefit of being jjba. I like how if your Stand clashes with the other stand you go into a blazing fists match and whoever mashes the hardest wins :v:
Voynich Hotel finished fucking rushed bullshit, i hate it when manga just has to end in one chapter, and in only 11 pages as well! so dissapointed
rushed endings usually means cancellations
Voynich Hotel finished fucking rushed bullshit, i hate it when manga just has to end in one chapter, and in only 11 pages as well! so dissapointed
to me it felt like a long way coming. No way that Dowman Sayman would wrap up every lite thing
Why must SHAFT tease a catgirl Onodera we'll never truly see?
no, you're a day late
idk if anyone wants this but now they can have it.

Whoa hype, never noticed Cross Ange's 2nd full ED was released http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aljQlzFnQDU thumbnail is kinda nsfw..? so I won't tag it.
~snip~
I usually don't care for April Fool's Day but I love how much fun Japan has with it.
Voynich Hotel finished fucking rushed bullshit, i hate it when manga just has to end in one chapter, and in only 11 pages as well! so dissapointed
Actually it had two chapters. One for one half of the cast, one for the other half. Sure, they were short chapters, but every Voynich Hotel chapter was a short chapter. And it had nearly 70 chapters. Again, short, but that's still quite a lot. I read one manga that got axed after 5.
