incredible also half of those subs are blatantly wrong
Even if they are wrong I enjoyed it very much
Yeah check out plastic nee-san, the episodes are really short and you can watch the entire series in 27 minutes. Well fansubs finally came out for nanoha. Some rando on /a/. Overall it's pretty much the first few chapters I watched before dropping the manga. Although I'm really not liking how they've dialed the setting back down to normal tech levels. For an advanced society working on ancient magics and futuristic technology, it's a bit confusing to see buses and cars on the street. It's not even earth for fucks sake. Also the knights aren't in the OP so I guess goodbye Signum and Vita. Hell there's so many new goddamn characters, and a disregard for the old ones, I don't even know why they've bothered to slap the Nanoha name on it.
I have high hopes for plastic memories.
So I just checked out plastic memories and I really love it so far. My only problem is that anything with the slightest bit of sadness to it will break me.
Plastic Memories seems like exactly the kind of anime I avoid because it makes me think about things I'd rather not. However, I don't drop shows, so if this one's gonna break me then so be it.
Aaaand Funimation still hasn't updated their schedule for Kekkai Sensen. Come the fuck on.
started reading Dance in the Vampire Bund I, uhh I might regret this
started reading Dance in the Vampire Bund I, uhh I might regret this
The one with the 1000 year old loli vampire who may or may not be underdressed at points? ...And where there's a vampire that turns, not into a bat, but rather, into a lizardman? I've only seen the first episode, in an anime club. The club leader warned us about the second, and I promptly got straight the fuck out of that room. yeah I suggest you run too
reading the anime is apparently shit, I'm aware [editline]5th April 2015[/editline] in my defence, the manga synopsis on wikipedia sounded really interesting
First image result from google: -snipped because dangerous- I would say NotMeh, you should stop before it's late.
Vampire Bund is shit. First ep of Shokugeki was amazing.
Can anyone recommend me some anime taking place in a post-apocalyptic setting or something along those lines?
Hokuto no Ken.
oh my god f/sn was amazing
Hot damn 109 episodes. This will keep me busy for a while. :v:
there's a 43 episode sequel too, but it's not as well received.
Can anyone recommend me some anime taking place in a post-apocalyptic setting or something along those lines?
Evangelion is.... sorta post-apoc? Eva 3.0 is post apoc for sure, but uh, yeah. Also Trigun, for something actually well worth the watch. And Ergo Proxy. Post-Apoc and Good is not really a combo that anime has down pat. If anyone has seen MD Geist or Desert Punk, they might be able to say if they are a. actually post apoc and b. worth the watch. I literally cannot think of anything else that you don't have on your list already (jinrui wa suitai shimashita, TTGL) that is both recommendable and post apoc [editline]5th April 2015[/editline] actually no I can recommend TTGL - watch the movies like fucking do it right now

(Read: edgiest shit ever) I may still have a synopsis of it that I sent to my sister.
You all owe it to yourself to watch MD Geist. [editline]5th April 2015[/editline] The fact that MD stands for Most Dangerous should be enough to sell you on it.
Plastic memories looks really promising. I'm looking forward for it to break me.

Berserk: The golden age arc 1 movie is on Netflix. Cool!
So Ra No Wo To
That show's setting is far more interesting than it has any right to be. Only notable flaws with Sora no Woto I can think of are the pretty generic character designs and K-On art style, as much as I like Noel's design, and how everybody's character fits neatly into an archetype that you can tell immediately by looking at their designs. Makes everybody a bit predictable when you already know nearly everything about their personality by the first glance.

It's just really off putting to me to create an entire lore and then have this interesting setting be explored by cut and paste school girls in wehrmacht uniforms. Had to drop it at episode 2.

[editline]5th April 2015[/editline] In the first episode alone you have the [sp]angel skeleton[/sp] at the bottom of the lake and in episode two you have them showing that they have a goddamn [sp]abandoned haunted modern Japanese classroom[/sp] in their fortress, in a setting that's rural European style, and that wasn't enough to make you think "maybe i should wait a little longer to see if this goes anywhere"? [editline]5th April 2015[/editline] They have a goddamn spidertank in their basement is this not enough to balance out the characters

Watching schoolgirls play soldier in what's supposed to be a really strange and dark world is not fun, I might find the juxtaposition charming or funny if the characters were different, but since they fall into the usual boundaries you get with a 5 female cast the whole thing is just an SoL but with 'darkness' I'd rather not watch a cast of poorly fleshed out clones bumble their way through. Color me jaded from watching to many western-made serious war flicks and having gone through the predictable ringer hundreds of times from those, but it didn't connect with me; it felt like a gimmick.
the whole thing is just an SoL but with 'darkness' I'd rather not watch a cast of poorly fleshed out clones bumble their way through..
That's not what the show is. Not like it looks like I can convince you to give the show a chance at this point.
That's not what the show is. Not like it looks like I can convince you to give the show a chance at this point.
Well, since you're so fervent about it I might reconsider watching it; Yahari isn't on for a few days after all.
