this next part of senpai club has some super subtle CGI in it, i think i blended it in pretty well but if you look really closely you might see it

just like the real animes
I feel like those terrible CGI background characters are more obvious than this sometimes
*nam-esque flashbacks to dance scenes from GoldenTime!*
Kyoanis golden age ended some time ago.
I personally reckon it ended probs around early last year or so with KnK. They still do fucking beautiful animation though. Not the end itself, more like the final nail in the coffin.
I feel like watching madoka while it was airing and not knowing anything about it would be a blast
it was
until 3/11 happened
[editline]p[/editline]
i remember because the homura's episode was the last to air before the airing delay
it was quite the cliff hanger
I'm still confused as to whether or not anyone liked KnK.
I did.
-snoop-

It was boring
[editline]8th April 2015[/editline]
and besides we all know the golden age ended right after Chuu2 finished
Tamako Market was enjoyed by an entire dgg and Free was gay
So I started and finished Un-Go in less than a day. One more show on the Bones Binge down. Let's take a look at the current standings...
1. Xam'd: Lost Memories/Bounen no Xamdou - 9/10
2. Gosick - 9/10
3. Zetsuen no Tempest - 8/10
4. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 - 8/10
5. Scrapped Princess - 8/10
6. No. 6 - 7/10
7. RahXephon - 8/10
8. The Skull Man - 8/10
9. Un-Go - 8/10
Next up on the Bones Binge.... Star Driver. Oh boy.

i did
I seem to be able to enjoy almost anything. KnK was okay, but nothing amazing. Tamako Market was all the adorable moe I expected of KyoAni, so it was most satisfying.
I watched the first episode of Plastic Memories, and it almost made me tear up a bit.
Speculation: [sp]I wonder if there's going to be a reveal that the robot lifespan is actually planned obsolescence. That would be heartbreakingly sinister.[/sp]

I would say it was about a 7 or 8. I think if it were produced by anyone other than KyoAni, I would drop it down to about a 6.
[sp]That goddamn whiplash at the end, though.[/sp]

i actually found the sol parts more entertaining than the fantasy parts in knk

Star Driver is p fabulous and fun
Star Driver is p fabulous and fun
It's the only show I've heard described as "the quality dropped significantly after the lesbians showed up".

Yes their animation is some of the best in the industry but I wouldn't classify KnK as a "golden" anime
KnK was extremely okay/10.
The world would have been 70% more interesting if we had focused on literally anybody but the main characters.
wow 90 dollarydoos http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-011168
it was only 76 during its initial release

I dunno, it kinda felt like a tipping point. It was by no means a golden anime but i kinda felt it was still good. I'm a sucker for that kind of show personally anyway. Past that they've kinda seemed to lost their spark. Sound Euphonium sounds like an attempt to grab back that K-on! feel and give KyotoAni's music department a workout. Free S2 was fujoshit pandering. Chuu2 was shit. I dunno.

man i wanna experience that
Yeah. I wished I could also have watched it without knowing about it.
Then again I would probably not have started it or watched more then the first episodes if that were the case. But I did get to watch the series+rebellion in one go so that was nice.
Also watched the first episode of Aldnoah.zero Season 2.
[sp]way to fuck over an ending that i actually liked second season and felt powerful. But no, plot armor survival! YEAH! god damn it. Very disappointing.[/sp]

but chuu2 was really bad ?
but chuu2 was really bad ?
ur thinking of chuu22
don't know anything about the sequel
I enjoyed chuu2 for a while, then the shitty drama hit and it became one of the few series I've dropped
It was the hypest thing out while it was airing, Thursday was the designated time for everyone to absolutely lose their shit
Chuu2 and hype are not words I typically expect to be associated with each other.
It's easy to say that in retrospect, but it's the same thing with basically every other seasonal. "Why did we find this exciting again?"
