Dragon Ball Kai is literally designed to distill down Dragon Ball Z's anime to eliminate filler and generally push the better animated episodes with occasional re-animated sections, check that out.
So Ore Monogatari was exactly what I expected, it was as Shoujo Romance as Shoujo Romance gets. After a break from Shoujo trash last season, I'm glad I've found one that's 2-cour, so it'll last me all through the summer.

I'm really happy ore monogatari got an adaptation, couldn't stop smiling throughout the entire first episode.
If you are putting it off due to it being a shoujo or that the mc is pretty rough to say the least you should really reconsider, you'll come to love the characters I promise you
my hope with the ore monogatari anime is that scanlators pick up the manga again

You really can't go wrong with all of them.
That said I personally loved the Cell arc. The whole spiel with Goku learning how to ascend past SS, his sacrifice (as per usual), and Gohan's "I'm no longer a bitch" attitude change is quite nice.

Yeah, yeah I just realized how right you are after I reopened my browser.
I just finished Parasyte. Honestly i thought that was really good, really well put together. I very much liked the concept and how it was executed, and i especially like how they managed to throw in a decently strong environmental message in there and discussed what it means to be human. The story was quite good (although it got a little slow towards the end before picking up before the finale), and the action scenes were well executed animation wise. I quite liked the final episode and how it tied everything together, and i especially loved how they used [sp]the escaped killer[/sp]. Solid 9/10 for me since i've been craving some drama action mildly horror thrillers. It actually kinda reminds me of Paranoia agent in a way.

You've got to remember that in these kind of fantasies the victims either
A) Enjoys it, no matter how brutal, even if they get chopped into pieces and eaten alive
B) Are the equivalent of sex dolls, there are no consequences to what happens with them, they're not real people, just simulations of ones, everything that happens is all part of the fantasy in a setting where it would be ok to do so. (even getting caught which happens sometimes)

Though I agree. I think the best scene is the dubbed SS3 transformation. It's 5 minutes long of Goku Screaming to awesome music as Krillin debates if this makes him double ascended.

I'm so glad that XXXholic forgets that those pink and blue haired fuckers exist most of the time because they haven't done a single goddamn thing in eleven episodes, and when they even do appear all they do is have a gimmick of repeating short high-pitched sentences several times, annoying the MC, and then vanishing for the rest of the episode. They're so utterly pointless I wonder why they're even there.
In fact, I hope they don't become relevant because they're somehow more obnoxious than the mascot, which is a feat worthy of commendation. For once the mascot is lower pitched and less screechy somehow.

On one hand the anime art style is utterly generic and has zero personality, but on the other hand the characters's faces don't look terrifying now.
Imagine trying to animate a character with a mouth as wide as it's face and eyes taking up 1/4 of it's head.
Imagine doing so for thousands upon thousands upon thousands of frames.
