Technically you judged it by its title. If you had judged it by its cover: [img]http://koi-nya.net/img/subidos_posts/2014/11/Punchline-730x614.jpg Then you would have been absolutely correct.
I believe he is referring to this image.
Did anyone watch/read Akame ga Kill?
I've only watched the anime, I thought it was alright. Ending for me was fine, in fact I thought it couldn't have been any better. I don't really feel like reading the manga ever because manga is for icky gross weebs and tons of effort so I just read it's wikia and skim the newest chapters and stuff
echoing Charm's comments, I have to say Etotama was just off the fuckin' hook crazy. If some clowns are to be believed and the industry is doomed towards 100% CGI, I'd rather they do what they did here rather than some terrible cel shading à la KanColle(? I don't think it was that bad, I'm trying to remember the one that did a really bad job of integrating 2D and 3D). Being so bubbly and fluid wasn't distracting at all compared to CG that tries to emulate the stockiness of normal animation.
probably the worst part about 3DCG integration is when the 3D models are animated at 12 FPS while the line art moves at 24
Just watched the raw for Oregairu EP2. Can't wait for the subs to come out so I can actually understand what went on, because it looked like I'm really going to enjoy it.
why do you people watch raws when you cant understand them
I can understand some of it, and you can get a lot out of just the situation, but I always underestimate how much dialogue there is and end up not understanding most of what's being said, which in Oregairu is a lot.
why do you people watch raws when you cant understand them
When I watched raws for watamote and SnK they were almost literally direct ctrl c+v dialogue (with some small exceptions of filler for the latter) and I heard it was kind of the same for yahari and it's LN so far so yeah, there's that too I guess [editline]9th April 2015[/editline] For shows that don't have that liberty it can seem kinda dumb, though, I suppose? If you really want to put it that way? [editline]9th April 2015[/editline] speaking of which commie subs for yahari s2ep2 are out
oh god i just stumbled across commie's SAO II op subs lmao amazing
speaking of which commie subs for yahari s2ep2 are out
It's too bad to hear that Yahari episode 2 doesn't have any subs out yet.
It's too bad to hear that Yahari episode 2 doesn't have any subs out yet.
I wouldn't really be too picky on subs when there aren't really any good choices to begin with. FFF and commie have their faults I'm sure but CR/HS seemed to be the lesser of the trio. At least according to the LN translator's opinion, which I'm not sure can be granted or not (probably not, I dunno). I mean, I'm not going to bring up the waiting game into this or anything, but there are literally hitler people even in this very thread who prefer speedy subs over waiting.
Imagine going from [t]http://static1.mcanime.net/kronos/images/fansubs/1/14273/ch_465710_0.jpg[/t] to [t]http://i.imgur.com/WpIOR5m.jpg[/t] Fuck anime
I'm going to be optimistic and say those eyes are supposed to be the "proper lady" attitude she had in the first few chapters.
I'm going to be optimistic and say those eyes are supposed to be the "proper lady" attitude she had in the first few chapters.
this sounds delusional but it would be the most hilarious thing

So I've been away from anime due to school and whatnot. Now I have a laptop and decided, instead of doing work, I'm gonna watch my anime during lunch at school. So, what's the popular thing for this season? That dungeon anime got my attention due to Pixiv.
Actually I checked that promo art again and it's still the same Huh..well then

Most things still have only 1 or 2 eps out so there's not much to go by.
Arslan senki is nice. [editline]10th April 2015[/editline] And for the dos of moe drug: kiniro mosaic. It's just what i expected from it and the new teacher is cute.
probably the worst part about 3DCG integration is when the 3D models are animated at 12 FPS while the line art moves at 24
line art in anime never moves at 24fps It's always a mix of 12fps and 8fps
I can already tell Plastic Memories is going to be quite good after on episode. I don't think the number of episodes has been confirmed but i'm kinda hoping that it's two cour so they can flesh out the characters. I fucking love that cyberpunk setting it has already.
Plastic Memories isn't cyberpunk
Yeah Cyberpunk is the wrong word. It's more like near future sci-fi. It's not really dark enough to be called cyberpunk. It might take a cyberpunk influence later on though depending on how the story progresses.
Punchline has some pretty cool visuals for its OP and when Mappa appeared on the credits it all made sense. They've never failed to make a show with strong aesthetics.

Unlike PsychoPass, Code Geass. [editline]pvp[/editline] Not saying anything about the shows that use it, but my favourite setting has to be 'magic in the future.'
Punch Line was good That [sp]cat video[/sp] was brilliant [editline]10th April 2015[/editline] This is gonna be a wild ride
I like this seasons Gintama op, then again I like all the Gintama op's and ed's
Mikagura was great, had me giggling the whole way through. Everything about was just fun and it got even better after the episode when I found out lesbochan is muddafucking Miyamori
Watched Punchline. Well, that was certainly a thing. The primary problem is that I don't find gratuitous fanservice and the panty shot stuff funny and that's the central gag. Time will tell how the show turns out because most of the other gags were pretty strong. Also they really like their CG apartments because that camera practically never stopped panning.
