Assassination classroom chapter 132 [sp]well thats certainly one way to pacify someone whos gone bat shit crazy 'cause of the tentacles[/sp]
I can understand why they censor Jotaro smoking in JJBA but I really don't understand why child nudity doesn't get censored (if it's a guy at least) but other types of nudity do. Thought Goku in the original Dragon Ball was just due to it being old but in the JJBA anime it happens. Makes a lot of sense.

Shh, don't let a certain subforum hear about it.
Try Mushishi. It's a very chilled out, 19th century version of X-files.
I finished Mushishi S1 about two hours ago. I can wholeheartedly second this.
Are you saying that's a good thing???
basically what i'm saying is that we should nuke japan the declining birth rates aren't fast enough it's the only way to be sure

I'm pretty sure maxumym was a legit pedo though and i'm pretty happy he got banned.
Let's drop this conversation thread before somebody inevitably gets banned for something. The whole nudity part was pretty unnecessary and any comedy gotten out of the setup before the fight re-engaged was kind of ruined by said naked Polnareff. I wonder if that sequence would be awkward for any English licencors. In other Jojo related news, it would be amazing if for the ED of the next episode, or in one of the episodes after it, we got (nothing related to the manga in here) [sp]a second rendition of OINGO BOINGO BROTHERS with Hol Horse taking over for Oingo.[/sp]
I'd be pretty hyped if Log Horizon pulled what they did last season and announced the next one at the end of this one. I'm still not satisfied with the story yet. I'd read the light novels if i could though.
FA, I am very indecisive. I haven't watched many animes and I am bored and what should I watch that isn't bad? Are there any shows that have episode formats similar to live action TV shows such as Star Trek, Star Gate, House MD, etc, where the beginning of the episode sort of presents an issue or problem and then throughout the episode they all work to solve it or find out more? I find that I like those types of shows a lot. Each episode is a journey and each episode something happens.
Already said but I'll second darker than black, each storyline is split into two episodes so it has very western pacing. Mushishi and Kino no Tabi are also very good episodic shows.
Just because I know the primary reason doesn't mean I can't question it. They're never cute, they're always high pitched, they never shut the fuck up and the very moment they appear on screen you can identify them as the mascot they're going to shove in your face in unfunny attempted comedy scenes. Who would actually like them? I'm pretty sure that fucking monkey is at least 65% of the reason why I've had Utena on hold. Wouldn't be the first series where a shitty mascot has been a contributing factor to me dropping it. Last time I straight dropped a show because of a mascot it was because it sounded like a screaming baby and was the the last straw of an annoying "comedic" supporting cast who dragged everything down and weren't funny in the slightest. They were testing my patience to begin with, then the mascot came in and I just gave up.
So you stopped Utena but kept on watching Akatsuki no Yona. That makes no fucking sense.
FA, I am very indecisive. I haven't watched many animes and I am bored and what should I watch that isn't bad? Ah shit we fucked up it's over. Eureka! The cure was so obvious all along! We're the best" kind of thing. But it does episodic storytelling as has already been mentioned. Cowboy Bebop Kino no Tabi Mushishi Space Dandy Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei Episodic but with a progressive story: Rolling Girls Kaiba
So you stopped Utena but kept on watching Akatsuki no Yona. That makes no fucking sense.
I binged Utena and Utena is deliberately repetitious as fuck. Like, for those who haven't watched it, every arc takes an extremely strict format that deliberately constantly repeats a ton of things. I watched 28 or so episodes rapidly, and that proved to be a bad idea, particularly when the action at the end of each episode is ass and Utena herself is a very unengaging protagonist. Plus with all of the stock footage the episodes are really only 15 minutes long at best. I haven't dropped it, I just haven't gotten back to it. I'm going to finish it eventually, it's a good show. I just sort of forgot to get around to it. Also Akatsuki no Yona is great. Took a few episodes to find its feet but I appreciate a very slow and deliberate pace. Also the action is way better than it has any right to be. [vid]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/229468864/AkatsukiNoYonaAction1.webm[/vid]

The only reason it has good fighting animation is because they never have fights and throw in 50 bazillion flashbacks and keyframe pannings when they are not fighting (90% of the show)
I thought "Sex and Violence with Mach Speed" was called "Sex and Violence at Mach Speed". After seeing a little bit of it and looking at the staff,it all makes sense now. This is Panty and Stocking Season 3
This is Panty and Stocking Season 3
makes you wonder what happened to season 2 huh
I can't trust anything you ever say anymore when you've called Akatsuki no Yona great. The only reason it has good fighting animation is because they never have fights and throw in 50 bazillion flashbacks and keyframe pannings when they are not fighting (90% of the show)
The "let me flash back to this thing we flashed back to thirty times before" was tedious and it felt like somebody accidentally left a bunch of one/two-panel recaps from the manga on the storyboard. I've said before that I'm fine with budget conservation for good fights. And since Yona rarely has fights it's nice to have them be really nicely animated. I never felt like Yona was lacking in budget enough to be distracting or detracting. Now you have to tell me all of the shows you thought were good this season so I can say that one of them is bad and you have shit taste so we're even. Utena does it in the most extreme way: stupidly long stock footage every single episode. And then the action that results fucking sucks making the whole thing a waste. Every single fight is person yells at Utena, she blocks for a bit, then she uses her stock footage finisher and wins in a single attack. Then she goes back to being the most boring character in the show. By the way, is anybody still watching Lesbian Bear Storm? I haven't heard it mentioned in forever. Is it even good? [editline]24th March 2015[/editline]
I see it as a regular Studio Pierrot anime, they start off strong then they suck
Yona was the opposite, it started off really shaky then got better. There was a 2-4 episode stretch where I had no idea if the show was going to be any good or not.
yahari s2 PV hikki's redesign looks just fine in motion, but saika's is weird new hairstyle looks cute, but i liked the old jacket colour scheme way more
By the way, is anybody still watching Lesbian Bear Storm? I haven't heard it mentioned in forever. Is it even good?
I'm on episode 7. Frankly, I have no idea if it's good. It's weird in an intriguing way.
no, i dont think they did, he sounds the exact same to me so i don't know what you're on about
his first line sounds way different but the title call had a little of that signature nasaly voice. Might be because of the direction I guess.
Mal says he has the same VA.
his first line sounds way different but the title call had a little of that signature nasaly voice. Might be because of the direction I guess.
his inner monologues are always in a slightly deeper tone of voice, the one in the PV is just even slightly more so no idea how you could think it's a different VA though, he still sounds the same except just very slightly deeper

Murciélago should get an anime. Murder, mystery, gore, lesbians. Not the Akuma no Riddle kind of lesbians either, the real lesbians. Also [t]http://puu.sh/gMuFw/363333a780.PNG[/t]
